The fact that you have agreed to increase your payments will mean that they cannot take action to imprison the NRP so there isn't much they can do really.
I would advise you to get your MP to write demanding a breakdown of the arrears showing the dates and amounts that have accrued so you can cross reference them.0 -
Just wanted to thank everyone for their help and advice. This is a nightmare and just the beginning but have taken on board all your comments. Again many thanks0

they should have sent you an account breakdown letter detailing all the dates of when the case opened up till now showing all the assessments and then the payments you have made to the pwc and what is left over to pay. they have to do that before threatening you with calls.
No they don't. They will send you an account breakdown if you request one (some teams demand you request it in writing) but they don't have to send one before ringing you.
pinkhandbag what was the name of this man who rang you? If you don't want to post it on here can you pm it to me please?
It sounds like he is being unnecessarily heavy handed to me, especially as you partner is currently paying something.0 -
Hi sorry I am new on this site - could you please tell me how to pm - thanks0
-
just click on the name of the person you want to pm and it will have a list of 4 things or so you can do, one of those things is send private message.0

Click on the user then send private message .It will go to the individual instead of the post0 -
Sounds like the CSA chap could be Rae Norris who was the sympathetic soul demanding 34k off my husband on Christmas Eve - what a low life!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thing is we can prove/and have proven we do not owe this money0 -
Basically the gits can do lots of things,
Freezing the NRPs account is one, but I doubt they could freeze a joint account.
I've had the sunday phone calls ( just after 8 one Sunday morning), asking why I hadn't returned the forms - they hadn't arrived with me.
Also I've had 2 calls on a sunday since they've had a DEO against my salary, asking where the payment is cos it's not arrived with them. I suppose they are trying to reduce the chance of me swopping jobs and not telling them but ... I've paid the CSA off and stopped them taking payments:beer:
I'm stillowed some arrears by my ex
I was a NRP, now I'm a PWC, partner of a PWC, and parent of a PWC ( and very confused at times )0 -
