I use Little Lambs on my DS, and they were used previously on my elder DD.

I did try out a few different types before settling for these, most will sell you a sample pack of one nappy so you can see what they are like.

I seem to remember paying about £260 for a birth-to-potty pack, which was more than some and less than others. They did DD until she was 2, so not quite to potty, we've just cracked that this week:j, and she's 2 and a half.

I bought a few different types to but with DD (local council Real Nappy network now provides this free so might be worth investigating). She didn't like bambino but tots bots suited her. However every child is different. We bought tots bots bamboozle nappies off ebay and we've been really pleased with them. Wasn't so keen on the tots bots all-in-ones so just shows that you should try them out!
    Making small changes everyday....
  • I use Pop Ins and am very pleased with them but as previous posters have said all bottoms are different so don't make a decision until after baby arrives. It is worth having a look at this website www.clothnappytree.com there is loads of information about using cloth nappies and also classifieds people selling on used nappies. Hope that helps.

I would agree with others who say to definitely find a way of trying different types/brands before you buy a whole set.

If you use the site Netmums, you can put a 'wanted' advert on there and this will go to people in your area. I did this a few weeks ago and got quite a few replies including someone who sold me 12 nappies and a nappy bucket for a tenner!

We originally bought odd ones of about 10 different nappies and several different wraps off eBay, and you can always sell them on if they're no good.

When LO was really small I loved the Little Lambs with a Motherease wrap, at 6 months we now use Bumgenius v3 and Fuzzibunz which are both great. HTH xx

I agree on trying them out, depends on baby shape, boy or girl, what you find easiest to work with, how much you can afford, do you want to have to buy more than one size etc ?
For the record, having tried various nappies, although only on one slim boy, I loved 'tots bots cotton bots' (not so keen on bamboo or fluffle ones, or all in ones from them), 'bumgenius', and also the 'close parent pop-in', motherease wraps are great too, actually fit better than tots bots own wraps! I found www.babykind.co.uk great for explanations, pics etc.
I miss my real nappies but DS is toilet trained these days ;).

We are using and would recommend little lambs http://www.littlelamb.co.uk/

The microfibre version they dry in under 12hr inside in a unheated room in winter and stay soft and fluffy without tumbling. We got the trial pack with all 4 types to check. Size 1 did not last long but the boy was born nearly 10lbs! (probably would have been cheaper to use disposables, savings maybe made with kid number 2 or 7 if the OH gets her way!) we use them with the paper liners.

Does your council offer any vouchers or discounts for buying them mine, Pembrokeshire gave us £60 towards them.

Its been about 2 years since I have done the nappying thing and I just wanted to ask a few cloth nappy users about these newer nappies.

I am quite a fan of motherease (one size and sandys), totsbots nippa's, pocket nappies (stuffed with mio prefolds) and the airflow wraps. Always thought these to be good nappies and reliable wraps but now its seems they are no longer ahead of the game

I have a small collection of my staple nappies but wanted to know more about these newer nappies, what is your best and worst nappy and are these bitti d'lish nappies worth their £15 pricetag?

    Thanks

I would look into Wee Notions, they are really good especially for heavy wetters and the designs of the wraps etc are just gorgeous too.
