  • Thanks Herewego. Part of me wants to tackle the Next bill rather than Studio because Studio passed the debt onto a DCA and they were really horrible but I know I'll have more satisfaction from getting rid of these bullies and Next have been very understanding. I wish I could have paid more but there was only £8 left in the account. Am patiently waiting for a cheque off Barclaycard and Halifax so once I receive them I'm hoping I'll be able to pay off at least half of the Studio debt.

Tax credits tomorrow so there may be a few more pounds I can pay off and Family Allowance on Tuesday so that'll be a few more pounds and then the week after it's payday again. Would love to get the balance down to £300 by the end of April - that's the next target.

Have just e-mailed Shapely and asked them to close my account. That feels so good :)

  • Have checked my bank balance this morning and only have £2.38 left over from this weeks tax credits :( I don't think I'll be transferring that to the Studio account, I'll probably leave it there and see what I can spare from the child benefit next Tuesday. That means 4 days without making a payment. How will I cope?

I've got hardly anything in Amazon or Paypal that I can transfer but I have got £15 coming from Quidco at the end of the month, maybe even more if some of the other items go from validated to received so fingers crossed there. Have got 41 items on e-bay which are ending on Sunday and currently only have 3 watchers :(

Don't think theres anything else to report in the debt ridden world but hopefully Mr Postman will bring me something nice in the mail. Will post back later to update.

  • Well no excitement from Mr Postman today. Have had a letter from GE Money thankiong me for my e-mail and stating that they'll look into my complaint regarding charges applied to my account. They promise to respond by 10th May so that'll be something to look forward to.

Also had confirmation that the ped insurance is cancelled, just waiting for the £90 refund now.

Oh yes and the only thing Mr Postman brought me was a catalogue from Shapely which has gone straight in the bin.
