Ames, I hate it how the government feel they have to do these "initiatives" to get people to eat better and exercise more, whereas I had a conversation with Pint's mum whilst going to the airport and the conclusion was, people was eat healthy and exercise more when THEY want to, not when the government tells them to. And she said gastric bands were getting a lot more popular as people wanted to do things the easy way......
Whereas, I've lost 9lbs, 3 inches off my hips and that's through better eating and exercise. And I'm getting a better boost from losing weight more than someone with a band that means they can only eat teaspoons of food does. And diet tablets DO work, if they're used with a healthy eating plan, not just chucked down the throat and used with the same full-fat crappy foods.
