I have a three-legged rescue cat who was rehomed based upon the condition she was indoor only - you'd not come across a nuttier, more affectionate fruitcake of a cat (and she's rarer than any pedigree!).
Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!

i have a sphynx cat shes lovely, theyre known for being mega friendly and love human company, usually indoor cats as can get too cold or sunburnt outside, they need a bath every week to a fortnight depending on how dirty it gets, but i wipe her over with a baby wipe in between baths also regular nail clipping and ear cleaning too,but theyre not hard to look after and arent that prone to illnesses these cats can live a very long time, they are very expensive to buy tho unless you can get a rehome or rescue, but go online and do your research thats what i did good luck finding your cat:D

DD and I were looking at pics of Sphynxcats yesterday...we found them by accident....we were not "taken" with 'em at all :S But I'm interested now, and wondered if they groom themselves like a "normal" cat? If they do, wouldn't that keep the greasiness away? *puzzled*

Oh...actually.....when a cat grooms, it's greasing itself, isn't it.....I think I answered my own question there...but will leave it up :)

This thread has been resurrected from Feb/March 2010 - two whole years ago! I wonder if the OP ever did get a Sphinx cat.
