I have the Sony 20gb MP3 Player reserved! Plenty of stock of it in Northern Ireland still! :D

Not sure if I will buy it! Although a half price reduction ain't bad! :D

I'm not knocking the Argos Deal, but it's not half price, they are £193 @
Ebuyer and the Sony does not play MP3's.

So yes the Argos price is very good if you want that player.

IMO, maybe the Creative Labs Zen Touch 20GB USB @ £161 should be considered

My son fancies a camera mobile phone and I decided to look in the Clearance Section and have managed to reserve a Motorola V300 but as we have only ever had Samsung phones before we don't know anything about Motorola phones. Can anybody recommend or otherwise please.

I bought a Pay as you go Sonyericsson E500 and I'm very pleased with it, they are around £80

This WALKMAN boasts better sound quality than MP3 thanks to Sony’s ATRAC compression technology. And via the supplied SonicStage software, the player is also compatible with any MP3 or non-encrypted WMA files.
    YOU CAN'T HAVE EVERYTHING........
    WHERE WOULD YOU KEEP IT!!!
  • The Sony player (NW-HD1) on sale at Argos will only play ATRAC format files and not any MP3 format files. The software supplied will have to convert your entire MP3 collection to ATRAC before the player can play the songs. The newer model NW-HD3 allows both MP3 and ATRAC formats....which retails at £219.99 at Amazon.

Thats right the Sony Player will not play MP3, however you can send it away for a firmware upgrade (£15 charge via SONY). I haven't looked to see if the upgrade is floating around the net. This will add MP3 capability and allowing the files to be transferred through Sonicstage directly and untouched.

The upgrade also adds a shuffle feature (i think) and a few other tweaks.

All true, I find it very funny that most sellers refer to it as an MP3 player when it cannot play MP3's :D

Review Here if anyone is interested.

Any chance of a pinter in the direction of one? I can't fin any that show as having stock according to their website. I've tried Bangor and Newtownards as well and they haven't any.

I'd really like one of these as I've given up on my ipod.
