looks as if they are doing it on-line now, just go to the main Argos page & select the "Catalogue clearance" option.
BTW what's happened to the link option.

Seems like all the good stuff is now out of stock on the website and also in stores
I checked this stuff out the first day it was on the Argos website and was already out of stock then!
Anyone have any news on when the FULL RO SALE will start or will just things start filtering through, or will there even be one like last time?
BTW the weblink to the current RO SALE site is: http://www.lowesfamily.ndo.co.uk/RO2005/The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing:)0 -

Just the small matter of most items being "out of stock".
Tried all the stores around where I live and still nothing. Is it me or have Argos reversed some of their web prices ??? …since the lawnmowers are back to their original prices of £70 odd….My reality check bounced.0 -

Probably because the Spring catalogue is out now & people will want to buy lawn mowers - moral of the tale is to buy when it's "off-season".0 -
I noticed some telephones had gone back up from £32.99 to £34.99 and where within the clearance bargains so not much clearance prices! Also everything I liked out of stock everywhere also.Snootchie Bootchies!0

The mowers & strimmer were web mistakes I think. I reserved a strimmer, but when I got in store it showed full price. I had also bought one over the internet, that is supposed to be delivered today. I'm still waiting....
I did check my CC this morning and the amount had been reserved, but not taken. I have also not received any emails or phone calls from Argos. I might be lucky, but I'm starting to suspect that I've lost on this occasion.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

I should have a strimmer being delivered tomorrow.
Got a strimmer and mower reserved but store wouldn't sell them to me. Any tips for wrangling reserves at the reserved price rather than the till price?0 -
And barely 20 minutes after my previous post my strimmer turns up. I am now a very happy bunny.
I can't remember who originally pointed this one out, but thanks to whoever it was.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

I managed to ring and reserve the Qualcast mower reduced from £109 to £27.50. Store was temporarily closed for 1/2 hour on Friday night to update the tills for the new catalogue, but the manager overwrote the price code to give me the clearance price as he'd stopped me getting it before the tills went down, nice man!
Notice the new price is £99 or so, still a great bargain (and a great excuse to get hubby out to mow the lawn *properly* this year)0
