haha, i'm just trying to do what's best for them!!! Wish i could tell them that, little !!!!!!s haha.
Cat's aren't stupid and I think they're contrary little devil's on purpose
The only fish my eldest cat likes is the cod out of *my* battered fish!!! She can smell it the second I walk in the door and plants herself firmly at my feet, eyes fixed upon me until I offer her some lol
Oh, and she also likes to finish the milk in the bottom of my cereal bowls. I bought her some cat milk to try instead but she turned her nose up at that too, fussy little madam“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
mmmm yes, sometimes they can have a rather expensive taste haha. Our male cat buddy, loves biltong (from south africa!) The minute hubby brings it into the house, he's like a mad cat! He can sniff it out where ever we hide it. Have to leave it in the fridge now to stop him trying to open the cupboards! hahaDFD February 2012

Hahaha .... bless him!
Well, I was passing P@H <spit> today and remembered someone saying their tins of cat food were on offer so I've bought 5 tins. Will be interesting to see what they make of it :rotfl:“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

Nope, not keen on this one either. I gave them half a tin each last night, although in hind sight I should have known this would be far too much as they're 156g tins and they're used to sharing 85/100g. They seemed to tuck into it well to start with, but I think it was they jelly they liked.
When they walked away there was at least half left in their bowls so not wanting to waste it I covered the bowls with foil and represented it them this morning.
Well, if you could have seen the looks on their faces!!! :rotfl:
For two cats who don't get on particularly well, despite being related, they were nose rubbing and communicating... most likely in disgust at what I'd done.... circling the bowls and looking at me as if I'd committed the biggest sin in the world :rotfl:
I ignored them and left them to it so they begrudgingly ate a little more for breakfast but have left the rest. This was the sardine variety. I have one of each to go through yet
It's my theory that all these new "whole meat/fish" foods are produced merely to please the the public's appetite than the cat's!! I certainly wouldn't have minded tucking into it“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Well, I opened up a pouch of Whiskas this morning and they immediately knew the difference before I'd even got it into the their bowls!
Miaowing constantly and circling my legs until I put the bowls on the floor and loud purrs of delight as they tucked into it. Guess my girls know what they like:rotfl:

haha!! So true. Sounds just like my lot! I gave them the last of the hi-life last night, and finally gave in around 8pm - emptied the bowls, and gave them some Felix steaklets which they gulped down! Still waiting for the Bozita, so really hoping this works. If not, i'll stick to Felix, and maybe change their dry food, which right now is Purina One chicken and rice. I've also bought some Yumega to put on their food! Hoping this helps with their coat.
But right now, my cats are Felix cats all the way haha!DFD February 2012

This seems to link through to a wholesalers offering the 'standard brands' and I can't see Bozita.....0
