'premium' brand lipsticks are heavier because they have lead weights inside the casing  weight of products being subconsciously associated with qualityMember no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

Have just had my meeting with my boss and HR Advisor. My OH was with me and everything went quite well. We addressed the problems I'd been having with my boss and although she did try to turn things around I think that HR understand the problems.
I said that I had not felt supported even though she knew that I was suffering with stress and that things that previously would not have bothered me assumed great proportions and added to the stress. I made sure that I also highlighted how we do on most occasions work well as a team and that although we had had our differences in the past we usually managed to overcome them. However, in the past few months when I was not well she did not appear to be concerned at how or what she said affected me.
I said that I had felt continually criticised and she said that there were reasons for that because work was being returned to her to re-do. Having said that she has never actually elaborated on what work was returned! Must ask that next time I speak to her!
My OH brought up the comment she made about me taking holiday when off sick and he said I had said she had said "Oh but you were well enough to go on holiday?" She was adamant that she didn't say that but asked me whether I was unwell while I was away. I said it wasn't so much what she said as the way that she said it that intimated to me that she wasn't happy about me going away.
Anyway, they have said they would like me to come back to work but only when I am well enough and don't want me to get into the position that I become agrophobic or so bad that I don't want to go back at all. Well, I don't really but the job is well paid and has good holiday entitlement etc so I'd be stupid to leave before I've got something equally as good.
I know going back will be difficult, the longer I'm off the harder it gets but I have decided I will go back, if only for a few months and look for something else. I'd rather carry on working for them for awhile and get a few months of normalness in before I apply for something else and have to put down that I've been off work with depression for 8 weeks!

SOrry, yes I was watching two threads and clicked on the wrong one to reply to! That's what work related stress does to you! LOL! Wondered where it had gone.

Hi I used to work for kelloggs and can categorically state they do not manufacture for anyone else.
BUT
I did work in a factory (12 years ago)which used the same receipe for HP Brown Sauce as it did for the Kwik Save no frills range
I suppose you need insider knowledge with current products to decide!0 -
My sons tried the brand snobbery bit with me but I was having none of it. Their mother tends to be a little more 'silly' with them than I am so she caved in a few months ago and got them Heinz Tomato Sauce  . RIDICULOUS mark up compared to the own brand stuff and they were so smug I (secretly) swore revenge. The daft b*ggers think that bottle is never-ending but little do they know that I have been filling it with Smartprice ketchup for months (approx 25% of Heinz price)
. No comments/complaints whatsoever, lol. I still haven't told them what's happening yet. But I will because brand snobbery is a thing that needs stamping out at a young age IMO, lol.

i used to work for Tulip - bacon. at the time they produced all the tesco brand, marks and spencer, and danepack. the bacon was the same - the only difference was that in the premium brands we made sure the bacon looked better before packing it!0
