Hi there, its really simple just to let the distributor know that you dont want a catalogue - or you can ring the main switchboard and they will stop delivering to you. :)
I did try ringing once before but these Betterware people often don't last long here and then a new one comes along and does the same. I only ask they take note of my door sign and don't push the book through. I felt a bit bad not being able to get the book back to them ( not paying to ring them again ) and don't wish to be put in that position. Now I have read that there is no outlay? If that is true then I'll have a clearer conscience about recycling the book.

Agreed its a waste of time, Kleenzy are even worse you can get more than one on same patch

Despicable company, they must be bad I dont ever recall ever seeing same person posting catalogues as they dont last long as they sold a lie on on told riches.

Basically stuff they sell is rubbish and over inflated rubbish

Well my co-ordinator came round tonight - very helpful and efficient he was and I'm good to go tomorrow evening :)
Most customers are really lovely as long as us agents respect their wishes if they don't want to receive a catalogue - unfortunately there will always be some rude agents/distributors out there who spoil it for us decent ones and there always be some grouchy homeowners but that's just life really :)
When I was doing this type of thing a few years back I came across one of my customers, a lovely older lady, who had found herself locked out after watering her plants - her only way back in was through her back yard but her back gate was also locked. I shimmied up her 8ft wall to open her front door for her. Now I tell you this not to make myself a hero but to tell you the funny parts about it - firstly I was struggling to climb her wall,(I'm 4'11"), when I suddenly felt a hand on my bottom 'helping' me over, lol, then the lady was so grateful she gave me 50p for sweets! I was a 30 year old mum at the time, lol!
Anyway need to go and get my catalogues sorted now :)
    Jen :)

Actually I've got to agree with you BeautyandtheBeast - I have seen a couple of things that I would genuinely buy if a book had been delivered to me :)
Will let you know how it all goes :)

I have never done this myself, I have had the books delivered to my house. A lot of the items are not my taste but some are useful and hard to get elsewhere.

I, for one, applaud anyone who is trying to make some cash by putting in the graft.

Thank you truly 1 :) I'm doing it because I really need the money - my day job is that of a special needs support worker in our local college and I love it but it's not the most fantastically paid job in the world although to me the most enjoyable and satisfying :) I'm getting married this year and after that hope to start my teacher training so as a famous supermarket states - Every Little Helps :)
