    Thanx BeautyandtheBeast :)
Just want to get up and running :) I was a Kleeneze distributor for 7 years up until about 2 years ago so know how simple this is to do - hard work but simple enough to earn some extra cash and I need it desperately, lol!
How is it going with you - you've made a great start :)
I hope I get my local area - a) I don't drive so obviously the closer the better for me and b) people still ask me if they can have a Kleeneze book now!!
Anyway good luck and I will let you know how it goes at my end :)
    Jenny :)

congrats I have done betterware on and off over the years and it certainly helps keep the wolves from the door so to say and you get free exercise with all the walking.
I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.
  • it took about 2 hours (but some had LONG) drives!! to drop them off and about the same to collect in (i only had to go back for 48 books) but this was because it was raining and people kept them inside rather than leave outside to get saoking (which was really kind of them) I did get more orders as well so my total order is £201! of which i will pick up about £40. not bad really.

i have to be honest i really enjoyed it - but then im a bit weird as i used to love my paper round. I met some really lovely people and even had an elderly lady call me as i hadnt picked the book up (was running a little late and was on my way to her street) and there was some stuff she wanted (the order amounted to £42!) and she was a really lovely lady who wanted to have a chat. i also have had families order and managed to catch a dog who was trying to make an escape. i like meeting people and being helpful and its good exercise.

it does help to realise that its not going to make you mega bucks but its 'pocket money' it allows you to have a little luxuries - that £40 will put petrol in my car for 2 weeks, etc etc.

i can see why it wouldnt be for everyone but so far so good. xx

    Hi There

Just been made redundant after working for the last 8 years and currently on Job Seekers Allowance , I know you can work up to 16 Hours and still claim benefit, would been a Betterware man effect my benefit ?

Looking into starting my business in the next couple of months I just think Betteware would help for buying the essentials.

    Thanks in advance

    Andy
  • no idea about that andy - sorry to hear about your job. its well worth a try but its not going to be making you loads! im just happy with making £25 extra a week so £40 this week is a great bonus for me. xxx

Hiya, sounds good to me i thought it would have taken longer and that £40 would do my car for 3 weeks :D

I'm glad it a positive experience, i used to deliver our local paper which was a lot harder than this...used to do 500 for £25  So this is great compared to that, thanks for you honest opinion x
  • the delivering is really easy - the pick ups not quite so easy if they arent all out side but its quite easy just to ring the bell and ask the householders for the book. i made sure that i clearly wrote on the front & back of the order form so they knew when i would be collecting the book.

collecting some more books tomorrow and wednesday so fingers crossed!!

    Thanks Beauty

I know its not mega bucks but it would help on top of my JSA.

Hopefully my new business plan will make me the big money, fingers crossed.

I just like the idea of been a Betterware man. I also used to deliver the local press many years ago and that was fun (well apart from the start with the heavy bag) and good exercise plus the Xmas bonus was great! I sent xmas cards to everyone and watched the money roll in. One lady told me I shouldn’t be doing this as it was the free press and then she gave me £5 !!! , guilt and pleasure in one hit!

    Regards

    Andy
  • fingers crossed for you Andy -if teh business plan works dont forget us! xxx

Hi, I tried Betterware 2 years ago, but to be honest I was not in a good place and didnt really put much effort in. plus some people were so rude when I put the books thru their doors, one woman threw the book back at me! So I thought, I aint doing that! lol Anyway, i have just started trying Avon again and was wondering if I could do Betterware alongside Avon? anyone could any thoughts on this? would I find it too much do you think?? thanks
