    - but a lot of it is just cheap plastic junk, there's things I've seen in Poundland, and you don't really need lots of the useful things! (Obviosuly we don't tell the customers that!!)

Which is why I don't even bother looking at the catalogue and put it straight back outside the door to await collection.

    Hey there

Me and the other half are trying to lose weight and save money by doing this - but I have a question, can this be done without a car? I'm conscious of carrying orders to the door - is it ever a real problem? Thanks!

Hi all and BeautyandtheBeast - glad to see you are doing so well :)
I started with Betterware around the same time as BeautyandtheBeast but soon gave up finding it too hard working full time and having time with my children but now unemployed until September and back with Betterware :) Chosen to go back with BW because I have a superb co-ordinator who really does look after his people and this is something I can work around the children easily :) What helped with my decision even more is that I took a part time job with a well known shop - they laid me off after two weekends because I wasn't flexible enough,(I had gone in for my 10-2 Sunday shift - they told me I needed to work till 4, not a problem, just wanted to phone hubby to let him know so that he wouldn't be waiting in the car outside a supermarket for over 2 hours at 2.10 in the hot weather but the store weren't completely happy about this and told me that it wasn't working out even though I was working over the contracted 8 hours per weekend)! At least I know with this that as long as I keep up a regular service to my customers I won't be laid off and I can do it to suit my family :) I desperately need the money - getting married in less than 6 weeks!!!
    Good luck to everyone :)
    Jen :)

I see this as a huge benefit - I don't particularly need to lose weight but want to get in shape for my wedding and this will certainly help as well as the added advantage of eating as much chocolate as I like knowing I'll be walking the miles to take it off again, lol! (Used to do Kleeneze and it was the slimmest I had ever been in my life, lol)!
Also I don't drive, I've actually just started learning and therefore have always retailed on foot and was fit as a fiddle when I did so definite benefits all round :) When I was full time with Kleeneze I was earning around 850 a month at one point :)
    Hope this helps :)

    Hi Outdoorlass :)
You don't pay for anything! Not even delivery - your co-ordinator brings everything to your door for you - catalogues, order forms, bags, deliveries - everything :D
    Good luck :)

Well I've decided to knock it on the head, early doors, as the success rate was too low for me. I stuck out around 300 books or so and got three orders totalling £20...:(

My time is worth more to me than earning 50p an hour or whatever it works out to be - in fact it will be even less than that as I haven't factored in the time of delivering goods into that figure.

My area co-ordinator is collecting my books, my stationery and my other stuff tonight and I'll be shot of them. No complaint from me about Betterware, it's just not for me.

    Hi SmartMart :)
I felt the same in my first week - I put out 300 books and don't drive so was a lot of walking but saw it as a way of getting fit for free :) Picked up orders of just 125 and felt a bit despondent :( Put out 160 books last week and picked up almost 200 this week - mad! So have worked it out and earned 65 pound which isn't great per hour I know but that's my hair, make up and wedding shoes sorted so happy about that :D
I'm sorry it didn't work out for you - you don't want to try another week?
