But there are normally time and minimum delivery requirements.
What we’d expect from you:
- A minimum number of hours, usually around 10 – 12 each week, but as many as you’d like to work
- A commitment to deliver a minimum of 250 catalogues a week, but again, depending on your circumstances and how much you want to earn, you might want to deliver more
- A determination to provide excellent service to your customers at all times.

Hi there,
just after a bit of advice from any co-ordinators/managers really. I restarted betterware recently after a 10yr break and move to a different area. Struggled to get in at first due to the lack of a co-ordinator in my area (according to head office who I told I would be interested in the position). Reg manager came out left me with books and order forms and a rough area ('start somewhere around there' were the words). Had good first week with almost £200 orders, week 2 again ok with around £150 (100 books not returned/thrown out so won't be doing that part of area again).
Week 3 got sent to cover area with less than 120 houses, not good less than £50 orders but 6mile round trip for me so doesn't cover fuel to get there. Have had no info on big weeks, no maps of areas which I will be doing, no re-order notes (found out I should have these from another forum).
Feeling really demotivated at lack of info and support (have left messages asking for manager to get in touch but heard nothing back). Also angry that this is supposed to be a regional manager I am dealing with when I would I have expected more from a co-ordinator.
There is also a co-ordinator on my goods delivery invoice - not the person I am delaing with.
Any advice on what I should have been told on first meeting and any other info/paperwork I should know about - bonuses, min orders etc
Sorry for rambling but really wanted to make a go of this - and feel I could do a better job than the manager:mad:0 -
Doesn't sound as though they provide much support!
Try to contact their head office again.0 -
First week and got £170 orders, not bad for 3 hours work walking and a hour or so prepping :-)0

I've just started up with another company and can only say I have been well impressed with the efficiency and support of both the company and my sponsor - nothing is to much trouble. I did betterware once but found the co-ordinator overbearing and controlling, the exact opposite of your experiences. Being an independant sort of person who likes to manage my own work schedule, it was a none starter for me. Hope you can work through the problems charliepop.charliepop wrote: »Hi there,

Really glad to see some feedback batb. Can I ask how long on foot it took you to visit all your houses?
I'd be interested in taking this up as i'm moving and going back to being a student again. £25-£60 a week would be enough for me to travel as long as the hours aren't to long and the days can be a little flexible. Do you deliver once a week and collcet the following week for orders?
Regards

I registered my details online on Sunday to be a distributor. Had an email on Tuesday confirming their receipt of my email and the local sales executive rang me yesterday. She's coming around next Wednesday to set me up if I'm ready for it and I've been lucky enough to get my home area....:D
Very impressed so far.:T0 -

Still very impressed. The regional sales exec came round yesterday morning, had a coffee and I agreed to do my area. She's given me pretty much my local area though some of it is about a mile away but I've got 1,880 houses to cover in a six week cycle. She gave me 200 catalogues and I'm off out tomorrow with the first lot.0 -
Hope it goes well Smart Mart and keep us posted .
DebbieWe love what we are doing and we love why we're doing it!!0
