I was wondering why there are no free screenings for movies that are already in cinemas. What I noticed is that the free screenings are for preview / word of mouth purposes but it would be good idea for cinemas to promote free screenings or tickets to movies that are already in cinemas for 3 - 4 weeks (eg: Pirates of the Carribean, The Break up, etc).
You might ask why they want to give free tickets when there are people paying for them. This is because that even though there are people paying for these movies, at any screening there will be several seats still available. By filling up these seats the cinema increases its chances of having more sales at the popcorn and treats stands which would increase profitability. Considering that a person gets a free ticket, he / she is more likely to spend more on the snacks as they have not paid anything for the movie itself. And I have read some where that cinemas make majority of their profits from selling overpriced snacks.
Maybe I am not understanding the whole cinema thing properly - I just thought this might be a good marketing ploy for cinemas.I have learnt that living life to the fullest gives you a much better high than alcohol or drugs !0 -

Can anyone tell me if a black and white print out is acceptable for SeeFilmFirst screenings ??
Ive tried emailing them but no reply:hello:0 -
Yep, they accept the print out in any colour I think as long as the printing is clear.
I always print them in black and white and they accept it with no prob0 -
should be fine.
I don't think there is any requirement for a colour printer.
At little chef I had a problem a couple of times with them saying no photocopies but I was assertive in telling them that it was a black & white printer.0
