*Miami Vice - There are 2 ways to get tickets for this movie :-

Fill in your details and indicate the venue you would prefer. All screenings take place on Wednesday 2nd August.

If your application is successful, you will receive a pair of tickets in the post. Please note that these screenings are always popular and thus tickets are not guaranteed.

    Panton Odeon - Panton Street
Belfast Movie House - Dublin Road

    Method 2:

To claim two tickets to a preview screening, choose your cinema from the list, then call the booking line. You will be given a reference number. PLEASE NOTE THAT SCREENINGS FOR MIAMI VICE AND MY SUPER EX-GIRLFRIEND ARE ON BOTH THE 1ST AND 2ND AUGUST. MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO NOT GET TICKETS TO SEE BOTH MOVIES ON THE SAME DAY UNLESS YOU HAVE A WAY OF BEING IN TWO PLACES AT THE SAME TIME :p (if you do, please let me in on the secret :rotfl: )

In the interests of decluttering the board and making it easier for others to search for tickets currently available please would everyone kindly post their free tickets / cinema codes / venue availability / cinema offers / film promotions on this thread. This can also include tickets that you already possess but are unable to use for whatever reason and, are thus offering to other MSE's.

I was wondering why there are no free screenings for movies that are already in cinemas. What I noticed is that the free screenings are for preview / word of mouth purposes but it would be good idea for cinemas to promote free screenings or tickets to movies that are already in cinemas for 3 - 4 weeks (eg: Pirates of the Carribean, The Break up, etc).

You might ask why they want to give free tickets when there are people paying for them. This is because that even though there are people paying for these movies, at any screening there will be several seats still available. By filling up these seats the cinema increases its chances of having more sales at the popcorn and treats stands which would increase profitability. Considering that a person gets a free ticket, he / she is more likely to spend more on the snacks as they have not paid anything for the movie itself. And I have read some where that cinemas make majority of their profits from selling overpriced snacks.

Maybe I am not understanding the whole cinema thing properly - I just thought this might be a good marketing ploy for cinemas.

Hi surfsister, I think that this is what your looking for
It seems that you can ONLY get the code by calling a 50p minute number.
No telling how many minutes they keep you waiting for the code so its not a no spend freebie

They always lose to cheapskates like me. I buy my snacks at a store before I visit a cinema

Yep, they accept the print out in any colour I think as long as the printing is clear.

    should be fine.
I don't think there is any requirement for a colour printer.

At little chef I had a problem a couple of times with them saying no photocopies but I was assertive in telling them that it was a black & white printer.
