Hiya WooWoo!
Have come across your diary today and have enjoyed reading it all, yep all of it, but did it in stages throughout the day, not one big read!
Was attracted to it as we both seem to have about the same amount of debt, both the same age and both live in Bristol! Spooky!
Anyhoooos just wanted to post and say good luck with the debt busting! Reading your diary has really spurred me on as have been having a bit of a tough time recently thinking that I have been paying off sooo much of my wages to pay off debt that I don't seem to have much of a life anymore and feel guilty wishing my days away waiting till the day when I am finally debt free. I know I need to get focused and think I will start off my diary again to get me in the right mindset!
Are you still going to the gym? I have been toying with the idea of not renewing mine when it expires as haven't been going much at all! I started Kickboxing last November and really love that, have my green belt grading next month! Must have been great working to get your black belt! Kickboxing is my main love now, closely followed by Mountain Biking (have only been a few times but love it!) and trying to run!
Take care and enjoy what's left of the weekend!xxx

Ha ha not originally from Brizzle but have been here for about 8 years now and really love it!
I live in the Filton area of Bristol
Hope you enjoyed your BBQ! Nom nom nom!
I have been very good today as was sooo focused after reading your diary, I decided to do an online supermarket shop using codes to save the delivery and only spent what I actually needed which cost half of what I usually spend when I go in there shopping in person! Proves how much extra cack I whack in the trolley!

Hi DK
Your not far away from me at all then!
What's the name of your diary? Glad mine has helped you to re-focus, it is hard but will be so worth it.
Didn't stick with the gym, I'm just so lazy these days! I did kickboxing for about 5 years and loved it, my black belt took 2 days both lasting around 8 hours, lots of people pass out or throw up, I wouldn't stand a chance now! What's the name of your club. Good luck with your green belt next month.LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

It was called something along the lines of 'in pursuit of happyness, let's try again' and was about the third one I had done!
Basically to cut a VERY long story short, I met Martin Lewis back in January 2008 as was chosen to be his debt busting case study for the year on GMTV! It all ended up being a load of old balony and despite this, I kept on using the site and had some lovely people comment on my diary, as well as one very amusing troll who ended up meaning my diary was removed for a while! A great member of the forum contacted Martin and gave him what for (as it appeared that I was used to fill a 5 minute slot on the tele and that was the end of it!) and it prompted Martin to get in touch but I wasn't exactly pleased with his responses so I gave up the whole diary thing and lurked about here and there for the last few months!
I really need to start it back up again, get a new one I think as it really helped and I need to get focused again!
Jeez Black belt sounds tough! My club is called Panthers Kickboxing. I love going as the guys are great and I love it! Glad that I know what to expect belt wise as when I done my yellow belt in April, I couldn't eat or sleep the night before and was a right stress head! I made myself ill with worry which was really silly!
Reckon I will start off a new diary then and will try and pick a new name for it too!xxx

I guessed it might be The Panthers cos of where you live, they focus a lot on the fighting dont they? To be honest I hated the fighting part as I'm not competitive at all, but really enjoyed the fitness side. Are they part of WUMA?
You should definately start a new diary, sorry it didn't really work out for you before. I've 'met' some lovely people on here and they have made the journey so much more easier.LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

Yep Panthers do focus a lot on the fighting side, well my class deffo does! I do love the fighting and would soooo love to get in the ring one day myself but think I might be too old now
Wish I would have started years ago! They had a fight night a few months back and it was awesome! I took along my brother and my dad and they both loved it too!
They are not with the WUMA I don't think but are part of BIKMA (Britich and International Kickboxing and Martial Association). I am thinking of doing more classes soon but need to really look at the money really and see if I can afford it.
I think I might start a new diary tomorrow as am off to bed in a mo as am feeling a little sick as polished off a big bag of Jelly Babies! My own fault if I puke but seemed like a good idea at the time!!!
There are some lovely peeps on here! Hopefully if I start my diary back up again, they may come back and comment on the new one!
