I think she may cancel the Spa Day now as we were going with the other girl that punched her!

I know I should just forgive and put it to one side, but she really hurt my feelings and actually scared me as she was so agressive. It just still feels very raw at the moment I think.

I knew she had a terrible temper when she drinks as she gets into terrible arguments with her boyfriend, but she has never turned on her friends before.

She does have some issues and I'm sure once I have calmed down I will feel more sympathetic towards her. It would be better if I wasn't seeing her so soon, but I want to return her money to her immediately as I hate money being any issue between friends.

I don't want to discuss it at lunchtime and will try to just move on as life is too short.

I will just be much more wary of her in the future I think.

Oh dear, I guess I would just go round, listen to what she has to say (if she mentions it) and try very gently to tell her that she and alcohol don't seem to get on too well and while your friend probably shouldn't have punched her in the face thats not your fault - thats for them to sort.

And you know what.................no matter how we try to pre-empt conversations, they always take a different turn

    Good Luck Good Fairy!

There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!
  • Makes sense i guess if you dont want the awkwardness of seeing her maybe do a bank transfer ? you can do quick transfers now a days in the same day .. ? x

Thanks Happy, I think I will be brave and face her. As I'm almost 30 I guess I have to be mature sometimes now lol!

That sounds like a horrid ending to your birthday :( I hope it all works out for the best in the end! She does sound a little crazy though...

    Good luck :)

The visit with my friend went ok yesterday. It was very awkward but we spoke about it a little and I gave her a hug when I left. I am starting to soften towards her and I'm sure that with a bit of time it can all be forgotten.

63p paid off the Lloyds card today. July has been an expensive month, so have only managed to clear £163.76 worth of debt.

Only 8 more sleeps until my holiday when the most energetic thing I intend to do is walk from the sun lounger to the sea and back again! Its 30 degrees in Greece today, I can't wait to cook myself!

Glad it went okay with the friend. I wish I had a holiday to look forward too - as it turns out I don't think I'll get another holiday this year. Still, something to look forward too next year :)
