Sisters like yours are there for you when times are tough, and smile for you when they are good. She will want you to be wherever is best for you - and being near work during the week will be great, plus with the money you save on petrol you'll be able to pop over and see her at the weekends. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0

Thanks guys, have spoke to my sister who was cool
The rent is more so no saving to be made, but the location is so much better for me. I will also feel more grown up living with a friend as opposed to living with my little sister!

Hi Woowoo
I've been reading your diary as well as other diaries over the last few days and just wanted to let you know how inspiring your debt free journey has been so far. I'm just embarking on my journey, having buried my head in the sand for far too long and it's only by reading the diaries on here that I've finally given myself a kick up the backside to get started and it will only be by continuing to read these diaries that I will keep on the straight and narrow. I love your idea of chucking any spare money at the debt to make a difference as it can be so intimidating not knowing how to find the spare cash to make in-roads but you've shown that there is a way. Anyway, don't want to get all serious but a big thank you for documenting your way of tackling your debt as it has inspired lots of other people on here to believe that they can do it too, regardless of what else is going on in their lives. Keep up the good workxx0 -

Hey Woo, your sister did a lovely thing by offering the room, but it's a good thing you've moved on (I know you haven't been there long so no dig intended).
I asked my sister if she wanted to stay with us when she split up with her fiance with her daughter for £25 per week. I offered this so she could pay off her debts and look for a place of her own. That was in July. She hasn't paid off her debts, has only looked at 3 places and her daughter doesn't sleep through the night. I NEED my house back (not only due to but one reason is I want to move my DS into the room she is in and turn his teeny tiny bedroom into a study so we don't have carp everywhere) and I now cannot ask her to leave despite everyone who knows of the situation telling me I should. It's starting to make me resentful towards her and my neice and I am so unbelievably close with them I don't want this to be the reason for any bad feelings.Loan - [STRIKE]£6991.95[/STRIKE]£6180.01; Barclays Res - [STRIKE]£600[/STRIKE] £0 - £22 per week , NWB Grad O/D - [STRIKE]£1185[/STRIKE] £887.86 18.28% SWALEC - [STRIKE]£700[/STRIKE] £0 NPOWER [STRIKE]£220[/STRIKE] £0 Kays - [STRIKE]£591.28[/STRIKE] £0 TOTAL DEBT - [STRIKE]£10,288.23[/STRIKE] £7,000.01 31.96 % Paid off.
