I agree with petrol cost. Morrisons is cheapest for me here (125.9 pl) but still horrendous (especially as my car, although fixed, has not yet "reset" itself so I am getting around 20 mpg in my 1.4!!!

Hi Kat
Morrisons is cheapest here as well.
I am all settled at my sisters thanks, I am actually very happy and have 100% made the right decision.LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

Morning Woo
I thinkIm back in the land of the living. I have been really depressed for a few weeks. Worst that I have been in a very long time. Beginning to see an empty nest approaching and my kids all heading towards independence. Will never let them know that it hurts so much and will let them spread their wings and fly!!!!!!!!! Tearful as I type. Got to give myself a good kick up the ars*e and get on with it. OH v supportive and kind. So hopefully get back on track this week. Only daughter away to volunteer in Eastern Europe with school this week. What a great opportunity for her.
Have been eating way too much and got to cut down.
Thats enough about moi!!!! How are you coping. Have been thinking about you
I agree with the price of petrol. Its ridiculous. I only drive when I really need to but living in a rural area unless you are willing to stay at home for a few days and make do with what you have..there is no bus service etc. Half term this week and one giant 6ft baby (15) is still in his bed ... hes getting up now or I will have to pull the duvet off him. That should work. If not I will open the window...its cold wet day here!
Take care of yourself
E
Hi E
So sorry to hear you've been having a hard time of it, glad your OH is taking care of you and being supportive. Don't stress about the eating too much at the moment, just be kind to yourself xxLBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

glad you're feeling the way you're feeling Woo. At least you know you've made the right decision.
costs of fuel are just mad at the moment, i filled up today and it cost £36, i spent the same less than a week ago and it's basically just trips to work and back. I'm just lucky that my car gets about 50mpg, heaven only know's what it would be like if mine did terrible mileage.0 -

Mine is on the back burner at the moment, I have to accept this though as I want to be out having fun at the moment and not stuck in feeling sorry for myself. As long as it's only my money I am spending I can live with it.
Once I'm into a better routine etc I think it will be easier to make overpayments again.LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

Hi LT
I wish I didn't have such a stupid car, it drinks fuelIt's not worth anything to sell and is reliable so will just have to accept the rise in fuel costs. I am currently budgeting £120 a monht, but think it will actually be more than this!
