it has turned really cold, hasn't it? Really icy under foot coming in this am. Bit worried now too about what to wear tomorrow night in terms of coat - I was just going to wear a wrap thing but I do have a kind of fur coat thing (not real, but quite funky) but it doesnt go with my dress at all! I also have a lovely shimmery golden coloured evening mac - again it doesnt go with the dress. Oh dilemmas dilemmas... bet the boys are not worrying about these things!

Woo - I'm likely to be coming up to Bristol in a few weeks to spend some time with my boy and perhaps take him out for lunch - I'll be tapping you up for restaurant recommendations! (and this will be one of those occasions where I will not be watching the pennies - he has had a rough start to the year so I will be spoiling him - I worry so much about him being up there by himself). Any ideas? He loves his food and is not a picky eater so any cuisine will suit...

EB My dad visited my sister when she was at Uni in Leeds a few years ago. He told her he would take her to dinner, got to her house, saw her hungry housemates, so he took them out to. The next day he took to her to Tesco for groceries............said it cost him a flippin' fortune :)

Woo - I could easily forget to mention a cheque :)

    :)

Can totally see that happening! I used to say I'd send my boy cash for groceries but I am sure they'd end up spending it on Jägerbombs so I send him tesco or sainsburys vouchers for money off their shopping, and I send the odd food parcel :-) My friends laugh at me because now and again I will send him a meat package from one of the online butchers (know anyone who makes pies? :D). They all think I'm weird (probably not jsut because of the food parcels though), but I like to know my boy is getting his proteins... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Which is a very valid and sensible point LT!

Is he committed to the debt busting as well?

Woo his entire debt each month barely goes above £100 so isn't in the same zone as i am with trying to cut back on the easy things.

i guess it's easy for us, he had £1000 when i met him and i had a small fortune's worth, even though we're now married i still feel that this is my responsibility to sort out. Won't be too long now though.
