I feel your pain with the strict budget i have been caught out in the last 2 months so new tactics for 2011 but December 2011 seems to be becoming a dream for me, but im in a better position like you now we have come so far and we will continue to the end.

I have been kidding myself on the cost of fuel and I cut the Tesco budget for this month as well, which has just messed me up completely, so with Decembers budget the new budget will be firmly in place!

Maybe you could start with one day a week, not just good for the pocket but good for the health too do you do running? You could run home LOL

You could ask santa for a bike, wish I worked closer to home so I could cut my petrol costs but who knows whats round the corner if more snow days are on the cards i may need to look closer to home

I have a sixty mile round trip to work each day and then business mileage which I dont get back for 7 weeks, the increase in fuel is killing me, never mind another 2.5% VAT in Jan.

£15 in my car now gives me quarter of a tank, I am really worried about the VAT increase next year combined with ever rising petrol prices

My car is a 2.0 Gti so drinks fuel, it's not worth anything to sell though and is reliable do it's catch 22!

I have to take my cat to the vets next Tuesday for a teeth clean and possible extraction, £150 oh good!
