Have just called Lloyds to find out my estimated interest for next month.

Last month's estimated was £60.51, today they applied £57.76 :)

However, next months estimated is £61.15 - how? I have cleared £416.26 since the last statement so how can the estimated possibly be more than what has just been applied? When you ask for an explanation they point out it is only estimated, I guess that means they don't understand it either!

So do I now update my spreadsheets with the using the figure of £61.15 to be on the safe side, or use the £57.76 it was for this month?

Lloyds really are a law unto themselves aren't they!!!

I would update with the higher figure - that way you're prepared but will be a nice surprise if it's lower.

Well done on the payment :)
