Only took 2 hours to get the leaflets delivered tonight, found 6p on the way round which was a bonus! The area was a complete maze and it was impossible to keep track of which houses you had done, am sure a few got double dropped!
Another 4 hours handing out icecream vouchers tommorrow then more delivering on Sunday, feel tired just thinking about it!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

Good luck with the inspection mz, I would hate that. How often do you have to endure these inspections?
My OH loves it when we have visitors as he reckons that's the only time I tidy up, cheeky! I live with my OH but it's his house, which makes me a lodger I guess.
I met him when I was 20 and he was 28, so unfortunately he was already in the process of buying his own house and I was already in debt. The only place we will ever own together now is a ski lodge in the French Alps (when we win the lottery lol!).
Hi Lemon Tree, I'm sure you will get there by Sept, you have done so well and your so close to being debt free now. I never thought I would be able to pay it all back, but it's starting to feel like reality now that one day I will be free!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

We have to have an inspection every six months (its so the agent can see that we are not trashing the place lol). Ohh how i would love a ski lodge in the alps, have to be content with going to our local ski resorts (and paying a fortune def not a MSE holiday by any means lol) I mainly go to Mt buller its cheaper than the others here in VIC and only about 3 hours drive away.Car Loan [STRIKE]$4471.47[/STRIKE] $1,254.70, CC1 Approx $4900, CC2 $108.00, HECS (student loan) $26,213 Total Debt - [STRIKE]$35,712.76[/STRIKE] $32,475.70DFD - September 2014Savings: Not smoking pot $397.98 (16/7/10), House Deposit $11,925.24 (16/7/10)Savings Total - [STRIKE]$12,013.06[/STRIKE] 12,323.22NSD Challenge June: 15/15 July: 9/120

Can you really ski in Australia, I just thought it was all varying degrees of hot?LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

lol thats what most people think, no we can ski here. The resorts in Vic are Mt buller, Mt hotham and Falls Creek. Our ski season starts next weekend (queens birthday long weekend) and generally goes till the end of the september school holidays, although we do rely a lot on snow making. Down here in melbourne we get winter days that get into single figures (and clear nights that can get below freezing) but no snow in the city or suburbs or anything. Very rarely we get snow in the nearby hills maybe once a year (Mt dandenong and Mt macedon) but the conditions have to be just right for that.
Here is the link for the resort I normally go to http://www.mtbuller.com.au/Winter/Car Loan [STRIKE]$4471.47[/STRIKE] $1,254.70, CC1 Approx $4900, CC2 $108.00, HECS (student loan) $26,213 Total Debt - [STRIKE]$35,712.76[/STRIKE] $32,475.70DFD - September 2014Savings: Not smoking pot $397.98 (16/7/10), House Deposit $11,925.24 (16/7/10)Savings Total - [STRIKE]$12,013.06[/STRIKE] 12,323.22NSD Challenge June: 15/15 July: 9/120 -
Took 1.5 hours to drive to the showhome this morning, M5 was very slow.
For some reason I can't even begin to comprehend they had hired the icecream van from Kent, he set off at 6 am this morning and finally got to us at 1 pm, 2.5 hours late!
So a lot of waiting around this morning bored out of my mind. It was great driving by the local park and given all the kids free icecreams, they loved it!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)
