You'll get used to it though EB, to start with it does feels like your leaving your security blanket behind though.

I spent this afternoon trying to convince a friend at work to close her accounts, she keeps getting to the end of the month and using them to buy treats - if she didn't have them she would learn to go without.

It's just the local high street, so just pubs, but with a dance floor out the back in one of them. Its a hard one as all the teenagers will be well dressed up, the older ones probably just jeans and a top. I don't want to look like the oldie on the dance floor! I have a back up outfit, but its the same old top and leggings I always end up in, but I haven't worn it up there since July, who the hell will know! I think I might brave the black dress, its quite casual really.

Missed this last night - I reckon the dress too (even though I havent seen it - LOL!) :rotfl:

    Hi Woowoo,
Could you wear the black dress with leggings and ankle boots to make it a bit more casual? I did this with a dress last weekend, as I hadn't worn it for ages (I kept thinking it was "too fancy"). DH did come through the door, look at me and say "what are you wearing" though :rotfl: luckily our friend's GF put him right:)

    I'm a size 3/4 lol!

I am just going to wear the dress with my comfortable heels, I don't care if I am over dressed, I like it and that's what matters!

Aaaah, shoes I cant help with then :-)

I think the dress will be fine. We dont all want to look the same anyway, but to be honest you see so many levels of dress up when out these days - anything goes! (although I do draw the line at a tutu with builders boots, which was a strange sight even for my liberal attitude!)
