My life in Germany is cold lol! Actually we do okay over here apart from the amount OH goes away grrrr! But we are having to pull the belts in so we can send more "home" (uk bank) to clear this OD, when we go over the agreed amount, we get charged a reserve fee for every 5 days of being over! Cycle is vicious! But in reality we should not be in this position because we dont live out of that account ( well not much! LOL) all our own stupid fault! Actually mine and my addiction to ebay!
Hi Beccie! nice to meet you to!
You girls and your debt busting really is such a great motivator! You should bottle it up and sell it (somehow?!) I would buy it!! Hence my problem...I buy (did buy!) anything haha!

Hiya Woowoo - how's it going? Not had my best thrifty day - bought breakfast (£1.40) and then bought a bag of sweeties. But did buy my own lunch, so that's not too bad!
Are you looking forward to your night out this weekend? I am quite nervous about mine...0 -
I think sweeties are a necessity EB!
I am just stressing about what to wear! Why are you nervous EB?LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

Because never gone out without a credit card before. I know it's silly but it feels so odd...
What are the dress options? Are you clubbing or eating out?0 -
You'll get used to it though EB, to start with it does feels like your leaving your security blanket behind though.
I spent this afternoon trying to convince a friend at work to close her accounts, she keeps getting to the end of the month and using them to buy treats - if she didn't have them she would learn to go without.
It's just the local high street, so just pubs, but with a dance floor out the back in one of them. Its a hard one as all the teenagers will be well dressed up, the older ones probably just jeans and a top. I don't want to look like the oldie on the dance floor! I have a back up outfit, but its the same old top and leggings I always end up in, but I haven't worn it up there since July, who the hell will know! I think I might brave the black dress, its quite casual really.LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)
