OH paid for vets, I just owe him my half on payday next week.

Pre LBM I would of put the £80 on my cc, had the OH's half in cash and spent it on a night out or something!

I would have done the same too! It's easy to see now where all our mistakes have come from, but good to see we're learning from them :)

I think cause you said hard times and then sent 5p!

But now I'm laughing even more at what you thought he might have meant! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Yes, this is the reason, sorry.I'm now laughing more at what you thought I meant LOL.

Still, on a serious note, it's a !!!!!! situation to be in.

Ha ha I was obviously being a blondie yesterday!

I am going home with my dad on lunchtimes this week to save fuel.

I'm ok with being skint today, the sun is shining and it was lovely and frosty this morning.

Exactly - it's a beautiful day outside and you don't have to have money to enjoy that x

We're being called to a meeting this afternoon to find out what these cuts mean for us

Not sure with mine - there are three jobs like mine across the country and only one can stay, taking on the others work. It looks like mine will be the one that stays, hopefuly will find out more about that this afternoon.

Obviously the Army is taking a large cut, so many people I work with are waiting to hear what will happen.

I'm actually quite relaxed, not sure if that's bad?! I decided ages ago (this has been threatening for a long while now) that what happens, happens. I will continue to really attempt to sort the debt, but redundancy pay would be decent so would give me quite a while to find another job. Plus, redundancies won't begin till 2011 and will be staggered up to 2013, so it's not quite the mad panic the radio seems to be trying to tell us it is! I will just have to make another plan if it comes to it! :)

We have the MoD in Filton very near to where I live, as well as Rolls Royce, so I imagine a lot of people in the local area are going to be suffering.

I just hope we don't go back into recession, I really don't think I can face going through redundancies again :(
