It's probably because it makes extra work for them as well. Sadly, even when you're both free there will still be hundreds of others who haven't seen the light yet.0

I don't know because that is how banks make so much of their money. Perhaps it would be the end of free banking and we would all have to pay to have bank accounts?0

when they say you pay interest on your highest balance, is that the highest balance that month or the highest ever balance? Its madening what they do, at the most it should be calculated at a daily rate on that days balance. Gits! I would love to go bank free but don't think i can ever see it, but i can certainly see myself being debt free, then mortgage free!0
