  • Didn't that happpen to you as well Woowoo? I don't understand how the interest charged can be more than the estimated interest when you pay more than the minimum. Write to them and ask them to explain their interest calculations, I think I would, if only to waste their time!

Spoke to a supervisor and she has found there is a training issue, I was told you pay interest on the highest balance you have ever had until you clear it in full. Got to the bottom of it and got an apology and i now have my estimated interest.

Mine went up by about £6 I think, they said it was because of the number of days in the month.

That still doesn't make sense though, because the balance was obviously less than the previous month so it should of been the same interest at worst.

They are impossible to discuss it with though as they so f'ing thick. They make me so mad.

I think all the staff need retraining, none of them have a scooby doo.

Were relying on them to do their job properly and to know what their talking about.

That seems outrageous that you pay interest on the highest balance, it should be on the current balance. Well done for getting it sorted, definitely worth pursuing, just shows as well, you really have to watch them!
