I need to renew my passport before travelling on Boxing Day.

That should be enough time, it's usually quieter this time of year I think. Can you send it off now? I think if you renew early they add the time to your new passport.0

It's just that if I wait till end of October I can pay for it out of that months wages.

My Mum has just sent me the money for my new passport as an early Christmas present.

I agree I think the time remaining to travel depends where you are travelling to but my latest motto is 'do it now'. I always regret it when I don't!

Well I had a look at some of their other posts and they didn't seem quite so provocative. Obviously just have an issue with Japanese and a Hawaii hater. I guess the Japanese don't go to S E Asia! I wonder how MSE judges if a post is offensive or racist?0
