Hi all glad to see everyone starting so well.

Just to update my progress and help keep me focused, I have paid off my credit card for work expenses in Jan and had made min payments on the card in feb which leaves £71.40 credit from my expenses cheque to put towards the challenge.

I also recevied a £37.78 PayPal credit for ebay sales and refund for a product which didn't arrive, further to that I found £7.02 in an old savings account which hasn't been used for some time.

    Total so far £116.20.

Got a mobile phone to sell and payments to receive from more ebay sales. Need to find ways to keep this momentum going, any suggestions for extra cash generating ideas would be much appreciated.

@ hiphouse - I can't beleive the front of some poeple, what you paid for the product is irrelevant, its the price they are prepared to pay that counts and clearly they were happy to pay the £12. Can you take it any further with ebay to try and get the negative feedback removed?

Another £5 redeem from BP, and I've rounded my eBay proft to £90 once fees & postage is taken into account. Over halfway there!

Paid £60 off my Virgin credit card from stuff I sold on Ebay
Also saved £11.14 from stopping smoking from 1st March. I am ok not smoking during the day at work, it’s the evenings that the cravings start:wall:. Good job I don’t have to pay for my prescription as the patches/lozenges would cost as much as the ciggies.

    Hi All :hello:

    Hope everyone is okay today.

I've got a few little updates; childcare was £5.70 cheaper than I thought, so that is going in my sad little jam jar :o also a stray 50p which I found floating around in my purse, and 41p which has been sat unclaimed on top of my microwave for about 3/4 days now :D Dropped a £2 coin in yesterday for bus fares saved yest/today as cadged a lift ;)

Oh oh, also... mini update of 8p which is bits found in the street (It was 9p but I lost a penny somewhere between picking it up and getting it home :rotfl: ) so total for me today £8.69.

Also, bit of good news to share :o I have been a bit slack with this challenge for a few months and have been feeling a bit fed up with the whole idea.. keep looking for a little extra 2nd job for that bit extra cash but have found nothing.
Today out of the blue a work colleague mentioned that her parents are wanting a cleaner to come once a week for 3/4 hours a time to help do some cleaning etc. So I gave her Mom a ring and am going to see her Saturday. Fingers crossed I can manage to fit the time in and get a bit of extra money from it.. she's paying £7 an hour. Fingers crossed. :o

    Essay, sorry x
