So far I've made £50 quidco cashback, £15 sale of some cloth nappies to a friend and £5 from selling a gold ring, so total £70 so far this month. Over target at the moment, and have got quite a few things on ebay, plus more to list so we'll see what happens with those.

Had to put a ticket in with Jackpot Joy as got sent a welcome pack, and it had a golden ticket which I could not register. Well their IT department managed to register it (LOL) and I have won £5 ! Yay, sure I will not be able to withdraw it and will have to play it, but it is an extra £5 to play with.

Well done everyone. I've been selling my books on Amazon - mostly making only pennies, but it all adds up. I sold a difficult to find book for £12 after fees. Unfortunately, I've had a negative feedback as they've presumed I've bought this from a car boot for £1 and sold it to them for £12... £15 with postage. I feel very sad to have had a negative feedback and cannot see what I could have done differently here. I have written a brief note to say how sorry I am at the disappointment caused, but that I cannot be accused of being a cause of any fault, deceit or error. The book did not come from a car boot, the £1 was written in pencil on the inside cover from years ago. I was advised not to remove markings from rare books as it can cause damage. I can only hope they withdraw the negative rating. It is out of my hands.

In the scheme of things this is nothing and I shall let it pass. I just hope the buyer is OK as they really did seem very upset and I'm thinking their unhappiness has come out sideways and today I'm there target. I wish them well.

Thanks for letting me write this here. I hope I can write back to cheer about good communcations with the buyer in the next day or so that sees my negative rating removed.

hey hiphouse hope they change ur feedback ;-( i've just listed 6 average paperbacks at 1p each on amazon - not sold there before so have no idea what the postage costs are going to be....if i get 1.41 from amazon after fees is it reasonable to expect i would clear 50p from each one if they sell?

    Hi All,

Sorry I didn't get on here yesterday. I did my grovery shop yesterday and got £7 from promotional savings (mostly from the 8 for £2 on muller rices, as my Husband lives on these and they are usually sooo expensive!). I also switched milk to this 0.75% milk that Tesco had for £1 for 3 litres, which works out a lot cheaper than our usual milk. Was pleased with myself, our weekly shop is often in the region of £80 but I managed to do it for £67 this week!

Am just going to count the £7 promotional savings. Today I am determined to walk my son to Tumble Tots, saving myself £3 in bus fare!

    Have a good day all,
    Flis

Hello everyone, wow, only a few days away but lots to catch up on!

Tinkerbel - if you're still about, I'm on dooyoo, think I may have seen you on there? Don't put as much time in as I should though, aiming to build up some miles this month.

Mrshalfful - sorry to hear about the job but glad you are feeling positive about it now. I too believe that it is a sign that something even better awaits you!

hiphouse - hope you get your feedback changed. At the end of the day, if they were willing to pay £12 then it is clearly worth £12, so even if you had bought it for £1 (which you didn't) you can't really have it held against you. If someone offered them £12 for something they had spent £1 on, I wonder if they would turn it down! I only have 3 feedbacks on Amazon, one is a neutral because the book had a different cover to the stock picture Amazon used, even though this was clearly stated in the item description :( (hmmm, can't find the confused smiley, where has it gone?)

Anyway £15 for me from MS paid in so not a bad start. Have a proper action plan this month so hoping to do a little better.
