hello everyone! at all the returning lurkees! and hugs to everyone of course ;)

some fab stuff on blogs, had a catching up session this evening as I let the commenting build up on me a bit, oops! I have been a busy bee today sorting out stuff for the school fair I am having a stall at next weekend! I really need to get my rear into gear as I've only been making stuff for it the last week or so. I'm such a bad procrastinator and always leave things till the last minute, I just think 'oh I've got ages' then before you know it I've only got a week lol. maybe if I hadnt been off work I'd have been more organised as I'd have known I'd only got the weekends to work on it!

I have convinced OH to take me to the paper mill shop tomorrow in exchange for a Mcdonalds :D as I'm getting low on certain colours of card and although its quite a way its worth the trip because its such good value. I'll be getting several boxes I think!!

spoke to my HR department today as they called me to fill me in on a few developments on the consultation process, and I told them I have 99% made my mind up (only because the letters not in the post yet so I could still chicken out!) that I'm going to volunteer for the redundancy.

I am feeling so much better in myself, the past few days I have been taking my tablets at lunchtime instead of just before I go to bed and the difference in my drowsiness levels is incredible, I havent fallen asleep in the day at all :j what a big achievement lol.

I have a drs appointment on Monday morning and I think I'm going to tell him that I'm ready to go back to work soon, now my side effects have improved and also knowing that I'll only have to stick it out for a bit longer before the redundancy takes effect makes it much more bearable, and I dont want to get too used to not working. Nice as it is being at home I still have to work to be able to let my spendy elves out every once in a while :rotfl: I am going to look for something part time though, once I've handed in my letter to HR and have a leaving date I can start contacting temp agencies to let them know when I am available from.

whoops mammoth post again, off I go on my tangent!!

Thanks - if you look very close you can just about see the fascinator I made for myself - altho my messy hair makes it difficult to spot. It was a really sunny day but quite blustery as you can see with the brides veil. I do have pics of the fascinator close-up on my camera but the batteries are dead.

Back to the scrapbook - 4 pages to go before I go to bed ;-(

Happy Birthday PONR. How come I missed it? Should you be on the list? You're not on mine. Has there been an update? I feel really bad now that I haven't put a card in the post.

Nice to see all those people we were worried about have popped in to say hello, so glad everyone is OK.

I've been out with the girls tonight and now I'm off on a blog hop. Have a good weekend everyone.

TomsMum - I'm not guilty this time! PONR isn't on the list. I only realised it was her birthday as I browsed facebook earliertonight. I was sorry as I too would have loved to send her a card.

Gemm - Cheshire Oaks is one of the better outlet type places, very spread out, though I haven't been for ages as it's a long day out for us from here. Hope you get lots of bargains. So glad you are feeling better & things look like resolving for you on the work front. How very wise not to want to get too used to not working. x

CGC - Ooo lucky you, it's about 12 years since we did a similar trip I'd love to go again.

Wishfulcomper, so glad your op went well, lovely to see you pop back xxx

OAP, lovely to see you back, sorry you've had clouds bothering you xxx

Glittermum, huge good luck for the stall today. I am having a mare of a time drumming up helpers for our school fayre. Everyone has an excuse and nobody can see that raising money for the school is a good thing :(. I am going to need to grow some extra long arms so I can man 4 stalls at once ;)

Gemm, so glad you are feeling somewhat better, your tme away from work has obviously done you the world of good. Always remember we work to live not live to work ;)

PONR, happy birthday, hope you have a lovely day xxx

You're going to need some extra large suitcases for 3 weeks away, maybe I could stow away in one of them...? Hope you have a fantastic time xxx

    Hiya flying visit.

Had brilliant night at friends last night but didn't get home till 1.15am and DD decided he wanted to share with me that he was awake at 3.00am and then DD started her day at 6.00am:eek: Think I will be going to be with them tonight.

Just done very quick catch up as going to the caravan very soon so racing around.
