Hey all - I'm not really disappeared - just so much going on! I am soooo sorry I havent got organised on last months swaps yet - I promise to try and sort it all next week.

School fair tomorrow - I think I've just about enough to look decent - will probably not sell anything but hey it should be fun!

Things are pretty manic with work at the mo and have been doing a bit at home in the evenings with not much time for crafting or checking blogs. I'm also suffering from mega early mornings with DS2! I do sometimes feel if I can't fully join in I should just keep a low profile but I do try to keep an eye on things.

Not sure if I even mentioned this but I was away on a fab girly weekend in Edinburgh last weekend (am still recovering to tell you the truth!) - lots of lovely shopping (no craft shops though!) and relaxed eating and late nights and lie ins!

Thanks so much for asking after me Choccy-this is such a lovely warm place I don't think I could go away properly!

ANyway - need to go and print some price labels for tomorrow. Must dig out my camera to take some shots of my stall looking hopefully fabulous!

    Love to everyone.
  • chocolate.orange - my op went fine and I've been fine. Not really had much chance to think about it as been busy with MIL. I have got my sense of smell and taste back which is fantastic. :)

Hi, sorry I am another "lost poster" I have been very downbeat this last week or so and could not find anything nice to say so said "nothing at all" I was "lurking" a bit though. The clouds are lifting now and I have been blog hopping and admiring all your lovely makes I left comments Hugs to all who need them and Big well done to all the winners.
I did craft the crafty ribbons challenge but not sure if anything will be good enough to put on their blog, once they have decided I will blog them myself and you can decide.

    xx

Evening all. I'm really struggling to keep up atm, so I've just skim read posts, so apologies in advance for not mentioning everyone.

We've had no rain here for over 2 weeks (well apart from a 2 minute spattering on Wednesday), it's unbearably hot and sticky and I'm fed up with having to water the garden. Infact it's been so hot that it affected my judgement today and I've been really naughty and let the spendy elves out and they ran riot (so no looking at the LOV link for me). Good job DS was with me otherwise I think a few more things might have fallen into my basket!!

    Congratulations to all our winners.

Rusty - hope your GDIL starts to show signs of a recovery soon. Enjoy your camping.

PONR - Happy Birthday, you're not on my birthday list or have I mis-read it?

Choccy - thought you'd gone awol and also had a panic that you'd dropped off of my blog list, so glad your OK

Has anyone heard from OAP1945? I thought I saw a quick post from Glittermum the other day, but of course I could be wrong!!! I don't think it's weird at all to pm or drop a line to regular posters who are MIA. I hope all those MIA are OK.

Hello missing peeps. How spooky was that OAP and Glittermum?? Glad your OK - just need to track down Peppop and Hassy. Think Flourgirl is on her jollies.

Choccy - I thought you'd been busy with your DT bits. Hope the party went OK. End of term is always manic here too - I thought it was because I was a bit disorganised though!

I really shouldn't be on here, I've got shedloads of cards to make but no inclination!

Hello - I've just had a much needed brandy & babycham so am very mellow - it doesn't take much - I was always a cheap date!! :rotfl:Am looking @ the LOTV as I like their sheets 'cos my colouring is usually carp, basket is filling rapidly.

Glittermum - Haven't been to Edinburgh for years but it's a lovely place, great shops, did you buy some clothes? shoes? Hope your fair goes well tomorrow - I bet you sell everything! Hope things get calmer for you very soon & ds2 learns the benefit of a good sleep x

DTB - Many Happy Returns for your granny - hope you enjoy the party. Nice wedding pics!

Wishfulcomper - good to hear from you - is MIL willing to move? I do hope so, so you can spend less time 'on the road'.

OAP -I'm sorry you've been down in the dumps & glad you're feeling a bit brighter now ((hugs)) - I'm really panicking about the ribbon thing as I've not got the imagination for anything fancy but am hoping my simple cards will pass muster .

Wanna B - Spooky! (re OAP)

Jowri - LOL Glad it's not just me! I've just finished scrubbing a pan as a result of coming on here & not telling DH to keep an eye on it!

CGC - Hello! Where you going for your hols?
