Sorry happy belated birthday to ScattyJan x
Lei-armstronge - I love the stamp you use on the back of your card, the 'Handmade by' one, hope you don't in me asking but where did you get that from, its fab :)

Thanks I love it as it's really cute - i've since brought another one for OH's Mum! I got it from eBay but the seller has their own website now (which I've used a couple of times and I know a few other people on here have ordered fairy silhouettes from them). lei- my annual leave runs from jan-dec and I've already used a hell of a lot this year, I need to save some for the rest really! I doubt I'd get the time off anyway at the moment as there are several others in my team on holiday and there would be cover issues etc. if my GP thinks I should be off though it wont be my problem anymore

Oh that's a shame but I don't blame you for wanting to save some holiday when we're only 6 months into the year! Glad the doctor was understanding and hopefully you'll start to feel a bit saner after a few weeks away from work...

Flourgirl I hope your Dad's op goes okay - he certainly is brave doing it awake! I think i'd annoy the doctors asking too many questions and wanting to see everything going on :p

Rainmac don't be scared of your Bigshot missus get playing!!!
Leia Will get yours sent off, i had an extra pile here and now know where they were to go :rotfl:

    Thanking you x

Melissa have fun at the zoo - I love things like that and turn into a big kid!

Right we're off to Thorpe Park for the day tomorrow so cross your fingers that the weather is as nice as they're predicting lol x

Hi, sorry its late but I need a moan about something that happened at work tonight & hubby is fast asleep so you lucky ladies have to hear about it... :/

:o Theres a lady I work with that I found out last week is making the bottle top & donimo pendants....all I did was ask where she finds the best place to buy Resin (as we do on here) & she turned her back & mubbled 'oh you want to copy me now' I was in shock, I know she can be funny sometimes but shes always been ok with me. I later tried talking to her & she just didn't want to know, I've just been on Facebook to say to her to have a good weekend to find she has unfriended me  is it just me or does this all seem a bit childish!? Its not like I've even got the same style as her or am going to be stealing sales from her as soooo many people do it!!! Can you tell I'm alittle p****d  I know I shouldn't let it get to me but it just does, I'm always nice to everyone, if anyone asks me for some advice on something I'm doing or something I've bought I'd happily tell them....aaaaarrrrr

    Moan over...sorry :o

Hope everyone has a great weekend & enjoys the sunshine xXx

Ooh that does all sound so petty! Why can't she take it as a compliment? Grr some people x

thanks Nici, Hassy, Lei, I am trying to take each day as it comes, oddly enough I find it easier to do the things I dont like doing (cleaning, washing, ironing) at the moment as if i'm feeling carp anyway I may as well get something horrible done! I am going to try and potter round in my craft room this morning, might not get anything done but I think just sitting and being around it all will help me get my mojo back. I had an idea for a card earlier but I need my glitterpot order to come before I can do that!

juju what a pathetic woman, she is being very unprofessional in the workplace and if this continues I think you should have a word with your manager, how are you meant to work with someone who refuses to acknowledge you? outside work (i.e. facebook) thats her choice, petty as it may be, but at work she has a duty to show professionalism, especially if you work in front of the public. would be awful if a customer caught wind of tension between colleagues. as for the Resin, she should be flattered you are asking for her advice, I too wouldn't think twice about helping out someone who asked me a question and I know from past experience you're happy to tell others where you have bought supplies from! I doubt she's the first person to work with bottle tops and domino's so she must be copying someone out there :D lol

hope everyone has a good day whatever you're up to, its lovely and sunny here :)

    Hello all

    Happy Birthday Louby Loo
Congrats granny giggle the baby looks so huggable

Not been around for a few days as was getting ready for my hospital appointment (pixilax and sitting anywhere but the loo not possible) anyway I had the procedure on Tuesday, it was not pleasant but as I was a day patient I got the results the same day and its only diverticulitus YIPPEE we had feared a lot worse:):)

Addams - if you want to try dry embossing I can pass on my first embossing tool set. its a fiskas shape boss and has quite a few patterns. it has been sat gathering dust since I bought my cuttlebug. If you want it just pm me you address

Thank you so much OAP, the embossing kit arrived just now. I already have it out of the envelope and giving it a go. Thanks again.

I am pleased about your news at the hospital. It always makes it easier when you know what your dealing with too and its great its not as bad as you feared.

Gemma85 & Lei - Thankyou :) It felt like I was back at school! Shes 10yrs older than me so I never expected that off of her! I would too take it as a compliment to my work if someone asked how I did it or for some advice on metarials! Thanks for letting me rant & reassuring me its not just me! I'm not working with her again till thurs night so lets see what happens then! lol

Lei - thankyou for the link :) will check it out later after our trip into town x its so great this forum...everyone likes to help, no questions, thankyou to all for your help over the last couple of months of me joining the forum :D lol

At last I've reached the end. Got half way through last night but then the wine ran out so decided it was time for bed:rotfl:Half my notes were made yesterday so apologies if they don't make sense today.

First off I want to send big hugs to Gemma. Stick with everyone on here and as has been said just take each hour at a time. If you don't feel like making a card perhaps you would find a sense of achievement in sorting your beads, doing some grown up colouring or just cutting yourself some layers.

Second but in no way any less Nici, hugs to you and glad you are feeling a bit sunnier.

Craft Granny - What are the tea bag holders please?

Jowri - Trago, went there years ago on the way back from friends in Plymouth, what a bizarre place.

Skiergirl - Sorry to hear about your toe, ouch. I'm away again on Monday until the weekend but if I can be any help with transport the week after please holler. I saw a stamp ma jig type thing last week that was just an l shaped acrylic block and a thin peice of acrylic.

Hassy - Promarkers were from Hobbycraft in the sale. Think Creative is the cheapest at the mo.

Kelly-Lou - Hello and what a brave little girl you have.

Giggle - Congrats on your new grandson.

Rainmac - Have Erin for a couple of days it would get rid of your broodiness as she just doesn't seem to do sleep. Night before last she woke me 4 times before 3.30 and then I couldn't get back to sleep and not a lot you can do at that time in the morning in a caravan.

CraftyJuJu - What a daft woman. Sounds more like playground behavious to me, she certainly wouldn't do well on this forum.

Louby - We go to Sherwood and love it. Have also been to the one in the Lakes and Longleat but think Sherwood is the best. We always go winter time and like you said it is gorgeous all decked out for Christmas, this is the first time we will have gone in the Spring/Summer.

Rusty - Now following your blog on weight loss and have commented, well done you. With regards to the football card and gems would an easel card take the weight easier, sorry if you have already done this as I haven't caught up with blogs. Glad Maddison liked her card I'd never done one like it before.

OAP - Glad Op was good news.

Craftygirl - Now following your blog.

    Scatty - Belated Happy Birthday

SweetBabyCakes - Congrats on your Lily Sale

Melissa - Your son definately sounds like mine at the moment. Glad you liked Gulliver's, was it the one in Warrington? My two love that but also want to go in the Water Play area next time.

Hassy - Think they've moved the Otters at Chester Zoo as weren't in their usual place last time we went.

Flourgirl - Hope your Dad's procedure goes ok.

If I've missed anyone sorry and if there are congratulations due well done. Haven't had time to look at blogs other than following the two new ones. Washing machine is calling will catch up again later..

Yoo hoo - just poppin on as home alone but trying to catch up with housework - I wish I was more organised and always had a tidy house - but will confess havent really done any 'proper' housework since before we went away - how many weeks ago!!! (lazy moo!!) anyway....

Hugs to those who need them.((hugs))
Crafty - cor you cant believe some people can you!! Wonder what her problem is - I think its jealousy!!!
nici/rusty - thanks for your kind thoughts on Jack - he has glue ear in his left ear - although it has improved slightly - go back for a check up in 3 months - really hoping it eventually clears by itself - he would be an absolute wreck if he had to have an op. he is not good with that sort of thing.
Tiredmom - have a great time at Centreparcs xx
Choccy - tempted to have a go at the Scrapbook page as an alternative to a fathers day card...no idea where to start (and I signed up to have a go at Liberty Cottage but didnt even manage to do the first one!!). Will keep looking (and pondering!! :-))
KellyLou - hugs to your little girl xx
Enjoy the sunshine ladies - although we are starting to cloud over here, by the time I have finished my housework it will probably be raining!! :-)

Hassy - yes thank you the BBQ was lovely didn't get home 'til turned midnight. We didn't have any rain here at all, good job, as I'd left washing out! I've never even heard of a Red Panda - something for me to check out if we ever get chance to go to our zoo.

CraftyJuju - definitely playground behaviour from your colleague & how petty to go to the trouble to 'unfriend' you! I was hearing at the BBQ how much trouble in work is caused by facebook, 2 or 3 were frowning about it.

Welcome back - however briefly! - to Tired Mum enjoy CP!

Kelly Lou - Hope your brave little girl is feeling better today.

Louby Lou - I can email you an up to date list pm me your email addy. Do you want an up to date one Tom's Mum?

Jowri - Ahh! Trago Mills I remember that from our Devon holidays I liked it DH was not so keen!

Addams - Lily of the Valley has one or two good colouring tutorials (well I found them helpful) - I agree that leaving them to 'settle' helps - as well as not being too hard on yourself!

Gemma - glad the GP was helpful and hope the tweaked meds start working soon (they can take a while though can't they?) just do what you feel will help YOU. ((Hugs))x

Morning, I've received my order from Joanna Sheen - what a super fast service, very impressed. I thought I might have received my promarkers from creative craft today as well as they were ordered at the same time, abit disappointed!!!! Does anyone know if they are slow to send orders and if so how long does it normally take?? I have some stamped images that are half done as I am waiting for more promarker shades!!!! Oh well I will just have to play with the blender pen instead!

Very overcast day, it was quite humid earlier - reckon we might get that thunder today!!!

    Hope everyone is ok x
