Hiya back from hospital with my very brave little girl. She had her tonsils out and grommits in, the consultants said he had never seen such large tonsils! No wonder she couldn't talk, eat, sleep or breath properly!!!
Whilst away my diecuts came from Diannes, they are fab and so I can't wait to use them.
I'm sure this has been asked before but where is the cheapest place for promarkers please.
Hope everyone is enjoying the sun0 -
Happy Birthday Scatty Jan - Hope you have had a fab day!
Rainmac/Rustyflange - Thank you so much I will be pouncing on Mr postman when he arrives :j
I'm slowly working out people to blogs so I'm sorry if I get it wrong, I'm still learning.
I have a list of things I would like to make this weekend, so hopefully I'll be able to update my blog shortly:T
Rustyflange How are you finding the Cambridge Diet?
Rainmac - Sounds like you have had a busy day, I love the Cath Kidston range, I have a few of her bags!
bunbun - Sounds like you have had a lovely family day out.
Kelly-Lou - Good to hear your back home and Little girl is very brave indeed. I ordered my promarkers from Joanna Sheen, I'm not sure if they are the cheapest though, I paid £1.69 each and really struggled on what colours to get!0 -
Oh forgot to ask, sorry if I am being thick! What do you colour peel offs with ?0
-
Thanks again for all the lovely messages - am just going to relax now with a glass or two
Addams I hope you are getting along with your promarkers, I dont know if anyone else finds this but sometimes I add a colour and think OMG Ive ruined it, sometimes I have but sometimes in an hour or so it blends a bit and looks much better -so now what I do is anything Im not sure of I leave overnight. I also stamp out two images one for practising/ruining , it did take me a while to get used to them I remember the first few days I was like hmmmmm, i do the same as the others and colour in small circles - my blender pen arrived this morning (not used yet) - I was very impressed with my order it was all wrapped nicely in tissue paper in a nice thick padded envelope, will def be shopping there again.
There seemed to be quite a bit reduced in Hobbycraft today and everything was getting moved round I said to Hubby its probably for the christmas stock, his reply *well yes it is June afterall*

Evening ladies..
Hope you are all well and not too hot.. it is warm and muggy here tonight..
:j:j HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCATTY JAN :j:j Hope you had a lovely day, by the sounds of it you have..
Nikki Hope you are feeling better, still... crafting is brill for helping the doldrums..
Gemm Hope you got on ok with your GP today.. fingers crossed..
Rusty Hope your pain hasn't been as bad today...
Mel Hope you had a fab day at Chester Zoo... my absolute favouritist animals in all the wide world are there.. Red Pandas I just love them, they have two there, and the otters are just nearby and they are always cheeky chappies..
South Lakes zoo is a brill place, just outside Ulverston in The Lakes.. you can get up close to lots of animals there, walk amongst Lemurs and Peacocks and Wallabies I think.. there are Cheetahs there too and you can feed Giraffes I love it there, just wish they had Red Pandas..One time I was there the male Lion roared, I have never heard one roar in real life and it was an incredible experience, I know it sounds silly, but I felt it in my ribcage.. amazing experience....
Marg Hope your BBQ was a success, we had a very heavy down pour around 6 ish... just as the food was finishing off cooking on our barbie.. saves me going around watering the plants anyway!!
Glittermum Hope you have a brill time at The Grand..
Kelly Lou Hope your little girl is ok after her traumatic op.. that is a lot for a little one to cope with.. hope she has a good nights sleep and wakes up bright and breezy tomorrow..
I use Promarkers to colour peel offs. I colour them while they are intact, leave them to dry and then remove them.. it works quite well..
Self imposed crafty stash ban: started again 22/8/10 1 whole month stash free!
I must not buy stash, I must not buy stash, I must not buy stash!0 -
Hello everyone, I just want to say a big thank you to all of you that sent me birthday cards, goodies and wishes on here. It really does mean a lot to me especially as i haven't had a single card from any of my so called friends and even a family member.
I had a fab day. I got some crafting bits and a huge bunch of flowers from the boys and hubby took me to manchester to see Lady gaga and we stayed over night. I can't tell you enough how amazing she was. She isn't as nutty as she makes out and has the biggest voice ever.
We then went shopping today and spend some of my birthday money. I think i will crack open the chocs now.
I also want to say sorry for not sending any cards myself yet. I have lost the listcould someone maybe scan it me and email it to me to save on posting it again. Thanks.
Happy birthday to you ScattyJan :j:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0
