Marg - I've been to a few play offs with Leicester - I haven't been to the new Wembley stadium though!!! My Dad and brother are season tickets holders at Leicester (my Dad has been for about 40 years) - he took me to my first game when I was 4!

TomsMom - congrats on your win!!!!!

Rusty - you're being too hard on yourself - I think your card is fab!!!! I used to think peel offs were the dog's whatsits - now I can't stand them either - much too fiddly for me!!!

Rainmac - hope you feel better soon.

Sorry snipped you. Yes that's the retail park I've seen I shall go and ivnestigate Dunelm when next there. I bet you went to Co-ed d dinas (sp) in Welshpool didn't you? I love that garden centre just such a shame the craft section is so pants. I know people who have done Port Sunlight as well I blieve they have really strict numbers but it does get very busy. I shall find out more about the Wrexham one though.

    ......

Yes, it was Coed y Dinas. Great place but I always get lost inside! You're right about the craft section :rotfl: .

I wonder what happened about the ovarian cancer trial? They call it the silent killer don't they? I had a scare many years ago - I hadn't quite written my will but will never forget the fear. I was very lucky it was "just" the consequence of endometriosis so they whipped out the ovaries anyway & left the rest as it was too complicated????? (shruggy shoulder thingy) The girls in the rooms near me weren't so lucky, one was only in her twenties.

I think with the ovarian cancer screening trial they must have either run out of money or found out that six years research was probably enough. I don't know how long they take to bring in screening for all once a trial is finished. The only scare I've had like that was 16 years ago I found a breast lump and it took a week for an appointment then another week for the result. I was hell to live with. I've had 13 lumps investigated. I must be a lumpy person :D, they were all cysts so I was very luck and was told that once I reached menopause I wouldn't get them any more. Correct so far.

Rusty Your card is fab. I know that when Ikki has some "blank space" she wants to fill she does a couple of score lines and it really makes a difference.

Rainmac Sorry you're not feeling so good, hope you feel better soon.

Paddington You made me laugh! Don't give up. I only knew because they sent me an email :D. I would have got around to checking later on, probably tonight as that's when I tend to do a blog hop.

    Right, must go now.

Great card Rusty - good luck with the Tax credits people.

Craftygranny - thanks for the links to the jigsaws that is what I was after so will have a look.

Thanks also for the idea about looking in Poundland Wanna-b-rich, I'll do that at the weekend as well.

Dragonllew - just posted off your CP stash swap, but am very sorry I sealed and taped the envelope up, before realizing that I didn't put a note in it, sorry. Hopefully, you will get it tomorrow.

Toms mom - well done on winning a challenge - its a great feeling isn't it.

Wishfulcomper and Rainmac - hope you start to feel better soon x

Thanks have got yours ready to post off tomorrow. Will be posting my card swap card to Melissa as well and my Atc to Gemma.

Have posted a couple of new cards on my blog this morning thank you to those that have already left me comments.
  • Marg - I didn't have any pain even though the surgeon removed bone in my nose  but I don't know if it is the anaesthetic that is making me feel, well, not normal.

I have updated my blog, and believe there is a music challenge going on. Can I enter with my Dad's birthday card which is on my blog? If so, how do I do it?

I am feeling a bit carp today, not sure if it's hayfever or a cold but I feel lousy, my head's all foggy and am being lazy. Should have hoovered and dusted but can't be bothered :o

Sorry I was really ignorant and missed this bit of your post, hope you feel better soon!

Marg - I know what you are saying but I hate being alone with his real mum, its so much easier when he is here as she won't drone on about how terrible his dad was to her and what a witch his ex wife was and his ex wife did this and that and the other blah blah blah plus when OH is here and she pays us the rare visit I often go out the back for a smoke just to get away lol pretend I am busy! I just feel she looks down her nose at me as the house was always tidy when he lived with his ex wife, but they both worked full time, him working away and they had no children!!!

Wishful comper - nice to see you back with us, hope you are ok? Thankyou for the link I will have a read over it when I am a little less stressed!

Rainmac/Dragonllew - I left the ribbon off, it looked weird, I found some I could colour in but it just didn't work or look right? I did add card candy and have a pic to put on blog later on.

Eeee I give up!! if my son does one more thing I think I will kill him!!

I am going to say goodbye and thanks now cause I swear if this child keeps winding me up and also his sister by copying then I will be arrested by approximately 16:12pm today!
