  • I've finally just finished the sock buddy for the friend from work, it took just about 10 hours overall, he's 15cm tall. My next prob is coming up with a price to charge as its my 1st I've no idea! Any ideas? :D

    One of these?

(I really want the Botanicals range for Mother's Day cards, and wondered if anyone knows where the best place to get Papermania stuff from is...is it Craft Superstore, because of the points?)

flourgirl - those bunnies & monkeys are ace :D what machine do you use to make these? Would be great for making treats for birthday parties :)
Also can't wait to see what you do with all those Banana sweets :D

Hope your pain easiers off for you soon :) I have had arthritis in my knees since I was 2yrs old & over the last 10yrs its gone into my hips & lower back (slip disc= joy!) its not fun the pain I know, I have good days then really quite bad 1s where I just can't move very easily. I need to stop myself from doing too much heavy lifting (yeah rigth with 2 kiddies!!) & rest otherwise I'll be suffering for days! Tell you what (if its friday your going) we can hobble around the NEC together arm in arm :D lol
Good luck with your visit to Doctors xx

Ouch! I wouldn't wish back pain on anyone!! I am lucky I haven't had it as long as you!! Mine is a slipped disc, compressed nerve root and disc disease all in 3 different places, my back is fine and relatively pain free apart from odd niggle, but the sciatica down my left leg and occasionally right leg is absolutely unbearable!! ... I agree with the try and rest and no heavy lifting (I also have 2 kids!!) I am going on the Friday so I shall be gripped onto your arm for the day ... or we can share the wheelchair :rotfl: If I have something to lean on I can walk, but DD hates her pushchairs now and hasn't used one for at least 4 months which kind of leaves me with nothing to lean on!

Flourgirl - replied on your blog, but I have a fabulous idea for the bananas .... post them to me so I can eat them :D
