Is it sad of me that I'm going to watch QVC craft at 10am to see what they have on offer as its surposed to be 'you can buy with 3 easy payments' as its the 3rd of march! I bet they have all the really expensive stuff on & the P&P is a little steep sometimes! Theres a show on at 7pm too so I will be sat ready to watch! lol :D

  • My local boundary mill is mainly docrafts stuff, lots of papermanie, forever friends, anitas, and other stuff like that! I love ours, but that is possibly because the only other local one to us is craftsite! (they sell online aswell!) but that is small! I think you should go :D even if you don't like the craft section then it is worth going for a look around the other bits

Have you been to Arty and Crafty on the North Tyne Industrial Estate, Benton opposite Asda?

I'm with you on that so I'm trying very hard not to even turn the tv on! I too am just starting out and like you are skint so it really is abit daunting isn't it?

Not sure whether you will be in a position to save up by then but I am hoping some of the ladies on this site will be organising a meet up for the NEC in November as I may be able to get to that one.

Must resist tv .............now where's that remote.

this is the die I have http://www.sirstampalot.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=23886 I got mine on ebay a while ago.

Thankyou for the link, I am normally very savvy in the sense of looking around for things cheaper so I dont pay a lot, but for some reason I never for this!! I keep watching them on ebay and either miss the end of they sell for around £7-£8!! ... I just bought one as I was planning on bulk buying precut ones which would have cost me around £5 so cheaper to buy my own!! :j

Yes I have :j I quite like it in there cause they have a whole range of things, but sometimes they don't stock what it is you want and other times I can never be bothered to drive to benton!! ... Do you live up this way?? where abouts?

  • I know what you mean. Sometimes I go and there's loads I want, then other times I can't find anything. I don't go often as I have to get DH to drive me there. I live in Cramlington.
