even if you don't like the craft section then it is worth going for a look around the other bits
Have you been to Arty and Crafty on the North Tyne Industrial Estate, Benton opposite Asda?0 -

I'm with you on that so I'm trying very hard not to even turn the tv on! I too am just starting out and like you are skint so it really is abit daunting isn't it?
Not sure whether you will be in a position to save up by then but I am hoping some of the ladies on this site will be organising a meet up for the NEC in November as I may be able to get to that one.
Must resist tv .............now where's that remote.0 -

Thankyou for the link, I am normally very savvy in the sense of looking around for things cheaper so I dont pay a lot, but for some reason I never for this!! I keep watching them on ebay and either miss the end of they sell for around £7-£8!! ... I just bought one as I was planning on bulk buying precut ones which would have cost me around £5 so cheaper to buy my own!! :jwishfulcomper wrote: »Have you been to Arty and Crafty on the North Tyne Industrial Estate, Benton opposite Asda?
Yes I have :j I quite like it in there cause they have a whole range of things, but sometimes they don't stock what it is you want and other times I can never be bothered to drive to benton!! ... Do you live up this way?? where abouts?Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
I know what you mean. Sometimes I go and there's loads I want, then other times I can't find anything. I don't go often as I have to get DH to drive me there. I live in Cramlington.0
