I know what you mean. Sometimes I go and there's loads I want, then other times I can't find anything. I don't go often as I have to get DH to drive me there. I live in Cramlington.

Woohoo Someone else local!! :j we can meet up sometime if you like? I try to get up to Durham to visit bunbun every other week and she comes here inbetween aswell, sometimes we just sit and natter, other times we craft!!

I gave into temptation & bought these Promaker pens

I've got the brights but on waiting list for pastels!

I've finally just finished the sock buddy for the friend from work, it took just about 10 hours overall, he's 15cm tall. My next prob is coming up with a price to charge as its my 1st I've no idea! Any ideas? :D

He's fab! Sorry, wouldn't really know what to charge, but I did see someone selling sock monkeys at a craft fair last year charging £7.50 and £8.50. It doesn't seem to reflect the hours spent crafting, does it? But if I charged an hourly rate, some of my cards would cost over £10 at minimum wage. :p
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

I'm off to blog hop in while and will leave comments on blogs, but just wanted to say that your sock monkey is fab crafty juju! Wouldn't have a clue what to charge though - guess you should workout your material costs and then add a profit that your happy with on top of that?

JailhouseBabe - Thankyou :D I know what you mean about an hourly rate! If I was to charge him what I get at work, he would cost £60! Can't really ask for that!! lol :) I was thinking £10-£12 maybe?

wanaberich - Thanks thats what I was thinking of doing, going to sit down in a mo & jot down what I've spent :)

    MrsB - Thankyou :)
