I love the bottom one. As sson as I've made the cards I'll blog them so you can see which design I went for.
This is one of the many things I love about this thread - there seems to be no challenge that you lovely ladies cannot rise to.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -

Hi to Rainmac, melissa , the wife, emmabo, lyndach, jailhousebabe, carmin, mad frog and marg,
I have had a good relaxing day, the children had a blast at school and met Korky Paul a childrens illustrator, I visited my great Aunt today and she has given me lots of florist ribbon to use on my cards and it's in all different colours, I'll probably have to wait until the weekend to have a go at using it now though,
Thank you for all the kind comments on my blog, how do I enter the card in to the challenge its the blue one on todays post I would like to enter, it has a few "B" things on it,
take care Jo xTake care Jo x0 -
JHB - on Helen's blog she has used those spaceman stickers like this - not sure if this helps you out - I thought they were fab so will make some, if I get the chance, for my car boot sales i am doing at the weekend.
Been AWOL again, so haven't managed to catch up on the last 8 pages I've missed. My OH has put his back out really badly, so haven't had a chance to post here, blog or make any cards.
I'll try to catch up with the threat at the weekend. Lei, thanks for the stash swap which came today, great bits in it, and I have no idea what to do with the shrink plastic, so watch this space!
Choccy - i've cut the cards up and just need to add the buttons, so will try to finish them of at the weekend and get them in the post to you.2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000 -
Hello all
Haven't posted on here since before christmas, cardmaking sort of got put aside in favour of cross stitch for a while.
Just a question though, I want to get back into it and I'm looking for a simple way to cut large circles and other shapes and wondered if anyone can tell me if this system is any good/ easy to use

I crafted today in that we upholstered our sofa cushions. Now googling for an 80's fancy dress, any ideas?0 -
EmmaB - your card is fab - I love how you've used the different sizes of pearls.
Thanks so much Melissa
*Louise*- I have the Xcut one and I find it very good. The only thing is my one came with a glass mat and I really don't think it would be much cop if you were using a normal cutting mat. Someone else may be able to tell you different but that would be my impression of it anyway. I would recommend it though. HTH0
