Afternoon folks, well chuffed here washing dried (outside!!) and ironed, yay, so tonight when kids in bed and hubby on nights I can craft or blog or stay on here without thinking I should be doing...or anyone moaning 'are you still on there!!':rotfl:

midnight -:wave: Ooh can only really think of the usual - love hearts that sort of thing - what sort of colours do you have to play with?? Or you could check for digi images that could be suitable?? Would you be wanting it to co-ordinate with your pressie (which sounds lovely!!)

everything is dark ruby red so i would like to try and stay with that theme/colour
i have lots and lots of craft supplies, just no imagination when it comes to cards:D

i did think of quilling some hearts
but wondered if it was a bit cheesy

Midnightraven3 - quilled hearts sound fab. I like gold colours with dark red - have you got any gold card/ribbon that you could use with it???

Flourgirl - I'm sure CT1972 did a newspaper card about 12 months ago I bet she's be able to help you!

Midnight - I'm not qualified to help really but there are quite a lot of ways to use ribbon, tie it vertically round the 'hinge' side of a card, or stick across the bottom of the card, try having a look at some of the card blogs for ideas.
