Making cards - Ideas for beginners (part 4)

Has anyone seen any freebies in their travels for anything magic related (my Dad is a magician so I wanted to make him a card for Father's Day that was relevant for him) I was thinking like playing card background paper, or rabit in a hat type of thing, magic wand....TIA

The wife Paper trimmers :mad::mad: I have 4 different ones and still have to revert back to ruler set square and knife a lot of the time. I did buy one of those -we are memory keepers- purple cutting mats with magnetic rulers etc and IF I am careful get on a bit better but its still a real problem to me too

Padster brilliant challenge, bears butterflies bouquet brigands ballerina bungalow bells balls (both beach and ballroom) bi-plane .. ok I give in ..next suggestion..oh dont forget bums and boobs...... yep I am losing the plot.....

I have packed off a cat in the hat and the witch from room on the broom to school they both looked real cool, but as I made the outfits I dont think they will last all day, I am having an easy day tomorrow I have to work for the next three days and never seem to have time,

Just wondering if anyone's got a Quickutz letterpress? It looks quite interesting but not sure how much I'd use it! Also - if anyone fancies getting rid of a Quickutz squeeze and an alphabet let me know!

Craftygranny-I'm third of the way through section 2 of the DLA form. Ooooooh, I hate, hate, hate it - it's all about what you can't do and it strips you of all dignity. I have to write it for ds and then make ds sit down and read it because he has to sign it. So now he's in a right mood - all depressed and angry because it rams it down his throat, exactly how different he is to his peers and that society is labelling him as disabled. My heart just bleeds for him.

Calm down Thrifty, calm down :rotfl: - need to adopt icy, practicality to get this finished.

It was around £24/25 last week.....you need extended plates...me thinks its for the bigshot!!
It really is a fabby buy!! My friend is opening up a shop in the next village....and she facebooked me this am to see if i would display some cakes....and also provide her with a catelogue...and she will get me more orders!!
Im thoroughly delighted!! I posted her a pic of the cases and she was like...yep you do them for me...I will get in card etc....how much do you want!! I said 5p per case....she wants 500.....so the die has now paid for itsself!!

Aww bless DS.Its such a shame that he feels that way. I suppose if he was getting all the help he needed you could at least say that yu have to put bad things to get him the help/.. But with how your having to fight you cant even use that as an excuse . So sending you all a big :kisses3:
