Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been posting much lately, I've been keeping up to date with this thread but just haven't had time to comment. I was at the stitch and creative craft show last weekend and got loads of lovely things and spent way too much money! I've blogged a few cards made using my new stash. Hope everyone is keeping well.

There's still time to enter! Though it looks as if almost everyone has :) - I can't promise just what time I'll be able to do the draw tomorrow so I'll say Monday morning.

    Hope I've not missed anyone..........?

JHB - I've been thinking that lately too - why didn't I just let sleeping dogs lie!

Does he still have no contact despite living quite nearby?

    xx

Snipped you, sorry. He did start phoning her when she was 17. It got to the point where if the phone rang at 11 o'clock at night, we knew it was him. One night me and DD had been drinking (bad mom, I know :o), and we thought it would be funny if I answered and pretended to be her. Long story short, I asked him what he was getting "me" for my 18th, as "my mum" was taking me to Rome, and "I'd" calculated that if he'd spent the same as "my mum" had on birthdays and xmas's he owed "me" about £8,000 worth of presents. He never called back. :p:D

JHB - not sure how I missed your post but am intrigued - hope your day is still going well!!!! Hope you will be sharing full juicy details xx (lol)
It was a lovely day, thanks ali. I met him for coffee and clothes shopping (for him!) in the morning, then he came back here and spent the afternoon with me and DD and a succession of her friends throughout the day with a few beers in the garden, followed by a chinese and a dvd. He's just gone home now. Hopefully seeing him again soon. :)

Marg - I haven't had time to make a wings card yet, but have to make a birthday card in the morning so will try to incorporate it into that if it's not too late? ETA: Cross-posted, will make sure I blog it tomorrow. :)
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

Sally Good Luck with your hubby but please be careful . We had a nasty experience with Kaitlyns dad who managed to track down her mum through facebook.

Sally UK What a nightmare for you, I think it may be useful for you to get a solicitor who specializes in your case, hope your children are ok

JHB Glad you had a nice day

Spent yesterday gardening then we went to the pub for a couple, came back and had a few snacks think we were both asleep by ten o'clock :rotfl:I think we are getting old:D

OH is going to Spain for three days on Thursday and it is my weekend off so going to spend the time crafting. Is it wrong that I am glad he is going so get to spend some time to myself :p

Am off to drool over my new MME quite contrary papers and I have also got crate paper orbit and little sprout collection. I made the mistake of leaving the bill on the table while I hid all the papers from OH. When he came home he saw the bill and said you could buy 40 cards with that... Men they don't understand do they? ;)
