Wow you ladies really can talk! I'm just catching up on the last few pages but wanted to say a big thank you to CT1972 as my stash swap arrived yesterday. Haven't had a proper chance to look yet but did notice lots of pretty shiny things and some fab bright orange ribbon
. Hopefully i'll have time to sort yours out over the weekend - sorry it's late x

The overall cost to make it is about 80p (the ribbon is the dearest part...going to see if I can find it cheaper!) but I've not got the paper for the inserts yet! Is that a reasonable mark up or is it too much?! Sorry, its my 1st time doing this, I don't want to over charge but then again I need to add a little for my time!
Have you thought about buying white ribbon from the haberdashery part of the Range (or similar) then colouring it with ProMarkers? I got a 5m reel for about £2/3 x0 -

Yes you wereThankyou
:j:T
Gemma85 - bit off topic...sorry.....you know when you sold your 1st item today on Facebook did it remove the item from the shop window or did you have to remove it so that no-one else tried to buy it? Only asking cos when Rusty bought the bracelet it stayed in the shop page as if it was avaiable! Also (sorry) do you know if theres a way of getting updates about the fan page without actually going onto the fan page?
Done nowsorry x

RustyFlange wrote: »Tiredmom - enjoy your class, you will have to show us what you make, are the classes expensive? how did you find out about the one you go to? I would love to go to something like this but classes up here are few and far between!
Pepop - Fab link, although how she crafts with those nails
I googled card making classes and the area. She came up as she is a stampin up demonstrator. I don't think they are particularly cheap but the fact that it is me time as well makes it priceless!:j
Once a month she does a general class which you pay £3.50 for. You take your own materials and can do what you want but get to use her glues, tapes, inks etc and also her huge array of stamps, dies, punches etc and also endless tea, coffee, biscuits and minstrels. That class I think is ok value.
The other one she does, again once a month, is on stamping techniques and for that we pay £10. For this she does provide everything and also we have her expertise. There has only been one so far and we did wax resist, roll around, bleaching and something else that I can't remember.
Tonight's is £12.50 but everything is supplied and we get to make 4 cards.
The classes last 2 - 2.5 hours and it is worth going just to gawp at her amazing purpose built brick huge craft room at the bottom of her garden that is stocked floor to ceiling with everything you can possibly imagine.
I was going to say the same to PepPop lovely link but she may have got on better with the DS tape if she hadn't had those nails!
Off to tidy downstairs now, why is it that your happy for your own mother to see your mess but however lovely your MIL is you just need it to be spotless, OH thinks I'm mad.
Oh Creativity magazine has just arrived, ordered yesterday, thanks so much for pointing that out. Still nothing from Poppicraft so mildly concerned I may contact Bambanz.

Gemm - well done on getting your first sale from you facebook shop is it easy to set up wondered I might sell a few cards that way as I make way more than I can use and all my orders seem to be special made to order cards.
JHB - Hope you feel better soon.
Mumoffour - hope your aunt gets better soon.
Jowri - happy anniversary.
Bunbun - I think it was Tomsmum who was looking for the heart embossing folder.
Have just put a wall hanging that I made for Aimee on my blog big thanks to Wendy for the beer mats.0 -

Do you know I was being thick as I never even imagined you was on about buying for the shop :rotfl: I am supposed to have all of them bar 10, but still missing 30 somewhere thanks to RM :mad:I googled card making classes and the area. still at work (on lunch) so will catch up with cards on blogs tonight0 -
Gemm and Juju - do you include postage prices in the prices shown on your shop on FB????The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0

PONR I put free shipping on as I didn't want it to get too complex (or offputting!) so the price you see is the final price0

Yes I've put £1 (for 1st Class) p&p on mine, it shows up on the item page when you've clicked on it. I find this just covers the cost to post, especially as Royal Mail have just put the prices up again!:wave:Hi, I have a passion for crafting.......I'm always up to something :rotfl::rotfl:
