Hi Wifey. Yes, I've used Promarkers, the hedgehog card I blogged last night was done with that card and PMs. I printed on "fast normal" on my HP, I would have done draft but there was one image that I knew comes out very pale so draft would have been too pale. Then I heat set with the iron - laid a sheet of kitchen towel over the images just in case there was any ink to soak up and had the iron on hot. It was a while before I coloured them in and then I was careful to try and avoid the ink lines as I've spoiled them before on other card. The hedgehog has lots of lines to go over where the spines are but rather than rub the PM over I sort of dotted it without putting any pressure on. OK so far but I have noticed that when printing some images come out very black as though for some reason more ink is used in those than others so I think I'll be very careful colouring those.

I have a massive box/trunk filled with stuff to bring up to the hospital then its all go....one of the nurses rang me and said that if i start doing crafty things with DH in the sunroom of the hospital that I will find other patients just coming along and plonking themselves down to take part....If that happened It would be FANTASTIC....not only for them but a real boost for me too....having the knowledge that I am helping and being useful. As you say, some people are uncomfortable with this situation, we're all different. It sounds as though your idea has gone down well and will be fantastic for the patients. I hope you're able to find someone to help out with playing cards, etc. Sometimes people would be happy to do these things but don't know how to get involved. Do you have a local newspaper that could perhaps put a little item in about how some patients would appreciate someone to play cards with, etc., and could people consider volunteering one hour a fortnight/month etc? Our local newspaper has sections for the different towns in the area and what goes on.

You can put the sandwich either way up, it will work both ways. Just make sure that the cutting part of the die faces the B plate and try and keep that plate for the cutting, you'll get upset if you mark more than one of your plates.

I really must go now and get on with some jobs.

PepPop, its funny you should say that 'cos OH reckons that when I playing my feet are going nineteen to the dozen, I just wasn't aware.

Thanks for the tutorial, good to see someone else that gets stuck with DS tape to fingers to clothes to scissors to everything around me except where I want it to go.

Thanks, TomsMom I'll give that a go tonight, I didn't know about the ironing tip.

Rusty - what a lovely OH you have!!!! I'm just trying to work out the measurements for a gatefold card but my head is banging so just cannot think lol!!! Will get there in a minute!!
