Glittermum thankyou my stash arrived its great and my card arrived thankyou Marg its lovely although I think Aimee may steal it she likes the fairy, she has turned into a bit of a magpie and sits at my desk ohing and arhing over all the glittery things and flowers on there and I can't get my ribbon box out with her around as I have to keep cutting bits off for her.:rotfl:0 -
Just a quickie. Does everyone else find even the embossing folders on the cuttlebug leave marks on the B plates? I did 2 embossing cards first (which left a faint mark) followed by the nesties (which left really deep cuts in the plate) Do the cuttlebug dies leave cuts in the plate like that as well? or is it just the nesties? I am really worried now as one of the main things I wanted it for was cutting out the nesties, but I dont know how many cuts it will take before it goes through the plate. What does everyone else do, just alternate the position of the nestability so it's not cutting the plate in the same place every time. Also it it right for it to make a slight cracking noise as it goes through the machine? Sorry if I am worrying unessasarily but I really dont want to bodge the machine up.0

Juju and Gemm - how do you set a Fan Page up on FB!!! I clicked on something but it then asks what type of business you are etc etc - is this the right way and what did you put as there isn't anything for crafts!!!!The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0

Any die will leave marks on your board! Replacement boards are £7.99 for 2 but I have only just started using my new boards after 6 months and they are completely raggy! I always used the same boards. Embossing folder may have just left a faint mark because it is new, it will dissapear dont panic! As for the deep cuts this is why we say to use the same board to cut into.
I bought some ribbon sliders from ebay and I really don't like them. I have 10 of these and 10 of these
I paid just over £3 for them but if anyone would like a couple to try you are welcome to them! I won't use them and they look a lot nicer in the photo than then are in real life!! may just be me being fussy ! was just trying to get more for my money by being tight and not buying the metal ones at £1.10 for 2! :eek:Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Thanks rusty, I will make sure I keep that one as the one to use on top now. It was a shock seeing how deep it cut though!0

oooh thanks Gemm for the tip about setting up shop on Facebook Fan page - I've just done it on my Butterfly Meadow page! only couple of bits for sale on there at the mo but will try to add more soon!! Also have just 'guessed' at the shipping cost so need to look into those properly and update!!
Oooh also Gemm - mean't to say have you linked your facebook page into a twitter page? thats a good way to get your stuff out there too cos then everytime you update your facebook page it posts the details on twitter automatically too!!
Not really feeling any better Rusty but thanks for asking - went to my GP yesterday to see if he could give me better painkillers but it is tricky and its a bit like getting blood out of a stone from him because I also have UC and I can't tolerate most painkillers because of it!!! Very frustrating - anyway he's given me some different ones to try so fingers crossed they help!! at least til I get to the specialist appointment on Monday - they do injections into the pain areas so I'm well interested in that option!0 -
Gem and Juju - I made the mistake of clicking on the help page on FB to see how to set a fan page up!!!! They are saying you have to log out and do it as a completely separate account giving a different email to the one you already use on FB - is that what you both did??? Thanks, any help appreciated!!!!The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0

on the bottom left hand side of my fan page (http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/pages/Crafty-JuJu-Designs/116211508405032?ref=ts) theres an option you can click "create a page for my business" once on there I clicked 'local business', put my fan page name in (business name) & followed the instructions from there....hope that makes sensex

Popkins - you have a new fan
Thanks Juju - so you just set it up whilst logged in under your normal id!! The help page gives a lengthy and complicated way and says you can only have one profile ie personal or business!!The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0
