Dragonllew -:j:j:beer::j:j Congratulations. If I learn card making with you guys as inspiration I should be ok. As with Rainmac you certainly deserve the position.

Twinkle - I love your card and don't think there is anything wrong, but I am a newby so only learning sorry.

Was going to say something else but am trying to catch up in the adverts for CSI so keep reading things and then forgetting by the next break.

Dragonflew - fab "wings" card - I love the pink and green colour combination - and his glittery wings look great. Congrats on your DT spot - I bet you are thrilled.

Ali - I'm the same I've been deliberating over a big shot for months!

Choccy - hope you and DS get better soon.

    Thriftyscotslass - thanks!

NattyNettie - can't wait to see some of your creations!

OAP - I can't believe you've had snow! Gorgeous wings card - love the colour and those butterflies are stunning.

Mary - ope you find your way out from under the papers!

Gemm - lovely wings card - the stamping at the corners looks fabulous. Love your acetate card too and your cupcakes look scrummy!

Dawnteabag - at least you know what's happening now - have fun in Amsterdam- I went years ago and loved it.

Wam - I'm one of the newbie's but may well take you up on some of the beer mats, will PM you tomorrow if that is ok.

Twinkle & Choccy - Hope your DD & DS feel better tomorrow. Erin seems to have turned a bit of a corner this evening so I am keeping fingers crossed for sleep and that is where I am going.

Those of you with children going back to school tomorrow no shouts of yippee as you walk out of the school gates!

  • Well I had a lazy day and only managed one card today which I will put on my blog tomorrow.

Congrats to dragonllew, all these people getting onto design teams!!!!!
Hi wam73, you are close to where I stay!!
DTB - good luck with getting back home. My brother was in Germany and ended up on Friday driving through Holland, Belguim and France and then going on through the tunnel. He then had to drive to Birmingham Airport to get his car and drive back down South!!! What a journey!!
Melissa - hope you enjoy your MS scoreboard, I need to experiment abit more with mine!!

My third flight was cancelled this morning so I've given up and am booked on the next available ferry which is Thursday evening. Going to travel to Amsterdam on Wednesday and spend a day or so there before catching the ferry at Rotterdam. Feel a lot less stressed now - have been on edge for days. Costing me a small fortunebut at least I have a roof over my head and some travel insurance not sure whether it will pay out at the mo tho.

Oh I do feel for you and all travellers in this position. I hope you get your travel sorted and get home soon, fingers crossed your travel insurance will pay up.

Well, I managed to do everything on my list of jobs today - I sorted out what needed to go back in the new wardrobe, all safely stashed away now and I did do a bit of chucking out of some old stuff. I also managed to get into the garden just for a little while and do some weeding. Made a card too which I've blogged (some of you have already seen) and I even did a roast chicken dinner. Not sure how I managed to cram all that into one day!

I hope all the children who go back to school tomorrow are looking forward to it, I expect all the mums are ;), and for those children who are poorly at the moment I hope they're better soon.

    Off to blog hop now.

Just a quick one, to say huge congratulations to Rainmac and Dragonllew on the DT places - you are both really talent and I am not surprised you have been picked - enjoy the experience and I look forward to following you and seeing your creations.

DTB - hope you get back safely, via the long route, and that you manage to sort things out so the travel insurance pays out, and your work is sympatic about your holiday entitlement.

Of to bed, absolutely worn out after a hectic weekend, and my kids don't go back to school until Tuesday :(.

Blogged another butterfly card - think I am addicted to butterflies!

Thanks for all your comments on my cards, they are really appreciated. Choccy - if you want me to make you a gadget card, just let me know and which one and, I will happily do one for you.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000
