Sorry to post a beg and run but i have tons to do to get ds ready for first day back after half term and hubby decides now is a good time to tell me he needs a card and present to take to work with him 2moz. So if anyone has a funny horse image i would be very greatful. Anything like the rider falling off or something. I don't know why he has asked for that but he has. My idea of a nice card isn't really his but i will try my best. He likes the flippin range and thought i could magic up a flippin woman horse card! where is the confussed smilie when you need one. I told him there isn't one.
Off to raid my stash of presents. I will be back later to back read and catch up.
Hi louby, here is a link for a flippin one on photobucket :)

Raimac Huge congratulations on your dt job.

Cazarol I like the idea of your star book . How about hanging a silver horseshoe, or a decorated wooden spoon ( mini size ) or a decorated wooden rolling pin . You can buy wooden mini kitchen tools like rolling pins and spoons. Sorry if thats not what you were thinking i always get the wrong end of the stick . lol

Jowri I've got a day off booked for Tuesday as well - I always try to take DD's first day back at school off so I can recover :) - it's all very well working from home 3 days a week but it's not the same with a background of Nick junior, phone going off every 5 mins and random food appearing lol!

Cazarol How about love birds or even butterflys?
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

Now you've got me thinking, what a fab idea, yes, thats probably 2 apertures sorted, I like the idea of a silver horseshoe and either a bundle of mini spoons or a rolling pin.
  • Congratulations Rainmac:j:j

    - I've used mine to make a few boxes (there is one on my blog). I used the tutorials on the scorepals site . The only thing I didn't like about the scoreboard was that you can't easily score A4 card in half, but you soon find quick and easy ways round it. Just go grab yourself one:D

Thats what I love sooo much about this thread, so many ideas and so quick !! I think love birds and a butterfly sound fabby. I got a stampin up butterfly set the other week so they would be perfect and i am sure I have some lovebirds on a stamp which would suit.
    Keep the thoughts coming.
Any thoughts on backing papers for peeping through the aperture.
I need to get to a craft shop.....or a decent online shop.
I usually only stumble across papers when following a link someone else has posted, I find it really hard to locate them myself !!!
Thanks ever so much for the ideas craftygranny and paddintondoo.....

Sorry no chance to catch up properly. Attempting to keep up on my iPod screen but it's v small.
My third flight was cancelled this morning so I've given up and am booked on the next available ferry which is Thursday evening. Going to travel to Amsterdam on Wednesday and spend a day or so there before catching the ferry at Rotterdam. Feel a lot less stressed now - have been on edge for days. Costing me a small fortunebut at least I have a roof over my head and some travel insurance not sure whether it will pay out at the mo tho.
The thing that is annoying mr most is that it's going to eat up my holidays from work which means I'll havdeven less available to cover school holidays
  • Oh my DTB at least coming back on the ferry. I suppose its better than the planes as they still dont appear to know when they will be flying again.
