Hi all,
Well again it seems like an absolute age that I've posted on here. Like I always say I do read just forget what to post by the time I get to the end.
Any how Hello to you all. Lots of newbies here which is amazing but gives me lots more blogs to follow.
I am from South West toooo, Near Bristol, Nice to see so many from my area.
Huge congrats Rainmac on your Dt spot, Was hoping to get you to Dt for me but am so slow setting things up.
Sad to see Rusty gone. Hope you pop back soon. xx
Gem, Not been on Facebook for a while but will get to follow you again. x
Anyway am really busy trying to get my online shop sorted. I don't have what I think is exciting things to list but it's coming on slowly and I hope to link everything up, Blog, Facebook etc and start some challenges and maybe another giveaway. It all seems a lot of work and I dont know if I will manage it all myself. So will be lookin for help from my MSE friends ;-)
Lots of lovely things on here lately, Love the Jewellery sliding into the card making forum as I too love it. If we could just incorporate knitting and Crochet I'd be in my element!!!
By the way Rainmac if you need Doileys in bulk I have a supplier I can get them trade for you. Not sure if you need that many tho. Also seen someone ask about post it holders. Have offered before and will again. I have loads of beermats going spare if anyone wants any am willing to post them out.
One last thing CraftGranny, Haven't forgot your generosity to me and still have you in mind to send you something. xx
ooo and is anyone going to the show in the Bath and West show ground? I never new there was one so close to me. Have entered a comp to try to win tickets but am really excitied so will go even if I don't win.Would love to earn an extra £40 a Week. Trying to find ways to :-)0 -

Cazarol How about love birds or even butterflys?
Thats what I love sooo much about this thread, so many ideas and so quick !! I think love birds and a butterfly sound fabby. I got a stampin up butterfly set the other week so they would be perfect and i am sure I have some lovebirds on a stamp which would suit.
Keep the thoughts coming.
Any thoughts on backing papers for peeping through the aperture.
I need to get to a craft shop.....or a decent online shop.
I usually only stumble across papers when following a link someone else has posted, I find it really hard to locate them myself !!!
Thanks ever so much for the ideas craftygranny and paddintondoo.....[/QUOTE]
How about something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. Hardest one would be the borrowed one I imagine but I think coins are borrowed from the bank aren't they?dawnteabag wrote: »Sorry no chance to catch up properly. Attempting to keep up on my iPod screen but it's v small.
My third flight was cancelled this morning so I've given up and am booked on the next available ferry which is Thursday evening. Going to travel to Amsterdam on Wednesday and spend a day or so there before catching the ferry at Rotterdam. Feel a lot less stressed now - have been on edge for days. Costing me a small fortunebut at least I have a roof over my head and some travel insurance not sure whether it will pay out at the mo tho.
The thing that is annoying mr most is that it's going to eat up my holidays from work which means I'll havdeven less available to cover school holidays
Oh no you poor thing. Surely your employers could at least meet you half way with the extra holiday as it really is an unusual situation.

It's good to hear he's eating, Sally:whistle: Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
Rainmac & Dragonlew - big congrats to you both and well deseved.
DTB - sorry to hear about your travel troubles, maybe you could suggest some of the extra days as unpaid leave or something. I suppose it is a case of weighing up whether you would rather have the money or keep the holiday, very frustrating for you though.
Hi to any of the newbies I haven't already said hello to.
Big hugs to all those who aren't feeling well or have DD/DSs that are ill. My DD who has been ill woke up with an eye that looked as if she had done 3 rounds with Mike Tyson! She has conjunctavitus now so has to have drops (dont think she loves nasty mummy very much at the moment, what with the medicine last week and drops now!)
I have blogged for the first time in a few days. Not very happy with the butterfly card I have made though, and could use some advice from you guys. I have punched the butterflies, obviously they need to go down that edge of the card as it wont reach further in. I have added the ribbon on the left side but it doesn't quite look right to me. Anyone have any thoughts as to what I could do to it?0 -
Wifey still got the image in my mind of OAP crawling slowly past you for the image:rotfl:
Off to the blog to dedicate the card to OAP :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:she was my inspiration!!!!! Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
I have some news... I have been picked to join the DT for Magical Crafts Challenges, I am soooo excited :j :j :j and very nervous. I am really looking forward to working with the ladies but so nervous about people I don't know seeing my stuff
Anyway, I guess I need to get over that one, please come and play with the challenges, new one out today. My first challenge will be in a fortnight.
Have a great day everyone x
And about time too, Mrs. A well deserved choice they've made. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0
