Completely O/T, but has anyone every done a ghost tour.

Never knowing what to get my OH for his birthday, at his request I have just booked to do one with him (he wouldn't do it on his own) - an all night vigil at the ruins of Alton Towers on Friday 13th and they call the tour, "Terror at the Towers".

Not sure I want to do it, as I don't like the dark, but do love watching most haunted, but that is OK as I am in the comfort of my own home, and nothing is going to get me :rotfl:

Can someone tell me it isn't going to be as bad as I think it is.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000

    Hi Scatty
I did get that one when I got the stamps, it is difficult to to a male card, My friends are arranging a shopping trip to bristol, Think we may go Cribbs Causeway ( as I'm driving) just so I can go to Hobbycraft lol
    Jo

I was there today - nothing much reduced though and I only buy from there when it is reduced as so overpriced!!! I did buy a Fiskars squeeze punch that was down to £2.25 or something instead of £7.95.

Welcome nettie, this is a smashing place to be. If you want to know anything at any time we are particularly helpful in getting you buy stash and to part with the cash just 'cos you need it. This is the most non-MSE thread on the forum.

I've done a ghost walk round York at night, about 15 years ago, I don't like scary stuff but loved this, it was really interesting.

Hello to everyone who's new to the thread :hello:

I should be up to date with blogs now :)

Mel, I'm really hacked off that your parcel hasn't arrived :(, I posted it at the PO on Monday afternoon, so sorry you haven't got it, Can you let me know when/if it comes x

We had a fab day at Warwick Castle, the boys were exhausted but happy :) I got the fright of my life when a person in costume moved and I thought they were a model  Met Henry the VIIIth which was interesting ;) I wanted to queue to go into the Princess Tower but the boys were having none of it :( :rotfl:. Crafty JuJu, your bracelet arrived just before we left for Warwick and I was wearing a shirt exactly the right colour so ripped open the package and popped it on, it's gorgeous thank you x

Hope everyone's seen the gorgeous sun today x

Thanks Dragonlew - I wasn't banking on getting any sleep after the vigil, as it doesn't finish until 4.30 am and the hotel will be 30 minutes drive away. I guess it will be OK, as long as nothing happens when we are on the vigil.

    Thanks
