    My cricut has arrived. Yay!
    Sadly I haven't ;-(
3rd flight attempt to get home is Now late Monday afternoon. Fingers and toes crossed please ladies
  • Gemm - the Card Candy is from the craft shop near where I live. Don't know if you remember a while back me posting that I'd visited this shabby warehouse place near me, cos my Mum had said they had a craft section and when I went it was a huge area stocking allsorts of goodies? Well it's there, they don't do mail order though! The only reason I bought the Snowballs today was because they haven't got any in stock atm. If you want me to grab you some, let me know and I'll see what I can do. x

I've got the silver one, just waiting on the gold one to be delivered. I have to say I'm really pleased with it too. I'm off to make a card, will blog it later. x

Jaz I love your walking stick! I am definitely having one like that when I'm old enough to need one ;)

Thanks, Gemm! I'm 22 though, not ancient last time I checked.

    Thank you wanna-b-rich!

from what I remember of when I did it at xmas you go into your dashboard on your blog and click create a blog which is next to where it says manage blog at the top of the screen and follow the instructions from there

Thanks Dragonllew I have managed to do one :j Nothing on it as yet except the first post, but wanted somewhere to record things other than craft. I have named it after my house, just incase you were wondering lol

Happy Birthday Melissa – I really hope you have had a wonderful day.

Well done on selling your bracelets Crafty JuJu, all the ones you put on your blog are gorgeous.:T

Jowri and ScattyJan – well done on setting up a blog, I’m now a stalker.:T
TomsMom – hope your DD is feeling better now and you have managed to get some much needed sleep.
Rainmac – hope you have had a lovely day at Warwick Castle. We went for the first time last year and the kids loved it, especially when walking around the Castle and the people dressed up in costumes acting like mannequins jumped out on you.
Tinypablo - hope you enjoyed the craft show, and didn’t let the spending elves get the better of you.
DTB – fingers crossed for you getting your flight on Monday. Fab that your circuit has arrived, can’t wait to see what you make using it – there will be no stopping it
Well done to everyone who has won card challenges lately – we are such a talented bunch.
Jazabelle – what a fab makeover for your walking stick – shame you have to wait so long for it. Well done on selling your cards at a carboot. Can I be really nosey and ask how much you sold each one for. It is just that I want to sell some at the carboots I do, but have no idea whether a) they would sell and b) how much to sell them for because around here people what to pay pennies for things and I was thinking about £1.00 a card. Also did you have blank insides and put them in cellophane wrappers? Sorry for all the questions, hope you don’t mind me asking.
So excited I have found a Range shop! Not local or anything, but about 50 miles away. Went down to Worthing with my mum and kids last week, and she took me a couple of back routes and I spotted it. Didn’t have a chance to pop in this time to take a look, but we quite often go down to Worthing with the kids, so will definitely be going in next time we go down there. Is it reasonable priced or a bit expensive like Hobbycraft?
My ATG arrived today and have managed to have a play with it. Is it just me or is there a knack to using it? It is just that most of the time the stickiness comes off as it should but sometimes only half the width of it comes off. Hope the MS Scoreboard comes on Monday ready for playing with on my day off on Tuesday.

Sorry for the mamouth post, well done if you have read to the end – it will teach me to keep up with the thread a bit more. Almost forgot, have updated my blog with my recent cards, and my entry into Marg’s ‘wing’ challenge is on there too.
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000
  • Just spotted this on the grabbit board and thought it might be of some use to someone here. Tesco's have got loads of their own brand ink cartridges for 1p & 2p. Link is here. Sadly the ones I need are not this price!!!! Bargain for anyone who has a printer with these inks though!!!
